C. Get Access
   (1) For the location of HMDUs refer to paragraph Component Location (Ref. AMM D/O 23-33-00-00).
   (2) Disengage and lower the inboard side of the blank filler panel(s) and/or Passenger Service/Information Unit(s) (PSIU) adjacent to related HMDU(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-25-11-000-001).
4. Procedure
Subtask 23-36-22-020-054-H ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the RH Hatrack-Mounted Display Units (HMDU)
   (1) Remove the section hoses (4) from the mounting rails (3).
   (2) Disengage the rail unit (5) from the outboard mounting rail (3).
   (3) Lower the outboard side of the HMDU (2).
   (4) Disconnect the electrical connectors (1) from the receptacles.
   (5) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
   (6) Disengage the rail unit (5) from the inboard mounting rail (3) and remove the HMDU (2).
Subtask 23-36-22-020-054-AW ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the RH Hatrack-Mounted Display-Unit (HMDU)
NOTE: The removal procedure is the same for all HMDUs.
   (1) If necessary, remove the locking devices (8):
     (a) Open and hold in open position the related covers (5).
     (b) Loosen the screws (9) and remove them together with the locking devices (8).
   (2) Remove the section-hose (2) from the inboard mounting rail (6) at the nearest overhead-stowage compartment-separation.
   (3) Pull the section-hose (2) to remove it from the inboard mounting rail (6) between the nearest overhead-stowage compartment-separation and the HMDU (3).
   (4) Push the outboard side of the HMDU (3) to disengage the inboard rail unit (4) from the inboard mounting rail (6) and lower it.
   (5) Disconnect the electrical connector(s) (7).
   (6) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
   (7) Remove the section-hose (2) from the outboard mounting rail (1).
   (8) Disengage the outboard rail unit (4) of the HMDU (3) from the outboard mounting rail (1) and remove the HMDU (3).
