C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 6M (20 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 230.
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 6M (20 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 230.
Subtask 23-28-13-020-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the LEO Passive Antenna
(1) Remove the sealant from the screw heads (1) and around the antenna base (2) with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(2) Remove the four screws (1) and pull the antenna (2) away from the fuselage structure (6), until you can see the coaxial connector (4).
(4) Disconnect the coaxial connector (4) from the antenna (2).
(5) Remove the gasket (3).
(6) Put blanking cap on the disconnected coaxial connector (4).
(7) Apply TAPE - MASKING around the coaxial connector (4) and the screw holes and attach it to the fuselage structure (6).
(8) Remove the antenna (2).
(1) Remove the sealant from the screw heads (1) and around the antenna base (2) with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(2) Remove the four screws (1) and pull the antenna (2) away from the fuselage structure (6), until you can see the coaxial connector (4).
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(3) Remove and discard the lockwire from the coaxial connector (4). (4) Disconnect the coaxial connector (4) from the antenna (2).
(5) Remove the gasket (3).
(6) Put blanking cap on the disconnected coaxial connector (4).
(7) Apply TAPE - MASKING around the coaxial connector (4) and the screw holes and attach it to the fuselage structure (6).
(8) Remove the antenna (2).
