Temperature Control ModuleSubtask 21-58-54-420-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Temperature Control Module
(1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Put a new AIPC 21-58-03-01-570 BRACKET (7) or AIPC 21-58-03-01-590 GASKET (7) or AIPC 21-58-83-01-600 GASKET (7) and the temperature control module (9) in position on the heat exchanger (2).
(4) Install the bolts (6), the washers (10) and the nuts (11).
(5) Tighten the nuts (11).
(6) Install the plenum (17) as follows:
(a) Put a new AIPC 21-58-03-01-560 BUSHING (1) or AIPC 21-58-03-01-580 GASKET (1) or AIPC 21-58-83-01-590 GASKET (1) and the plenum (17) in position on the heat exchanger (2).
(b) Install the bolts (3), the washers (12) and the nuts (13).
(c) Tighten the nuts (13).
(d) Prepare the surface of the bonding point(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-803).
(e) Put the bonding straps (4), (8), (16) and (18) in position and install the bolts (5), the washers (15) and nuts (14).
(f) Tighten the nuts (14).
(g) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(7) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(8) Install the air conditioning pack (Ref. AMM TASK 21-52-41-400-001).

(3) Put a new AIPC 21-58-03-01-570 BRACKET (7) or AIPC 21-58-03-01-590 GASKET (7) or AIPC 21-58-83-01-600 GASKET (7) and the temperature control module (9) in position on the heat exchanger (2).
(4) Install the bolts (6), the washers (10) and the nuts (11).
(5) Tighten the nuts (11).
(6) Install the plenum (17) as follows:
(a) Put a new AIPC 21-58-03-01-560 BUSHING (1) or AIPC 21-58-03-01-580 GASKET (1) or AIPC 21-58-83-01-590 GASKET (1) and the plenum (17) in position on the heat exchanger (2).
(b) Install the bolts (3), the washers (12) and the nuts (13).
(c) Tighten the nuts (13).
(d) Prepare the surface of the bonding point(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-803).
(e) Put the bonding straps (4), (8), (16) and (18) in position and install the bolts (5), the washers (15) and nuts (14).
(f) Tighten the nuts (14).
(g) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(7) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(8) Install the air conditioning pack (Ref. AMM TASK 21-52-41-400-001).
