Lubrication of the External Control Handles - Emergency Exit DoorsSubtask 12-22-52-010-063-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Get Access
(1) Open the applicable emergency exit door (referred to as door) as required (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-001).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE is in position below the partly opened door.
(3) Make sure that the special precaution on the door damper and emergency operation cylinder is completed (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-860-003).
4. Procedure(1) Open the applicable emergency exit door (referred to as door) as required (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-001).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE is in position below the partly opened door.
(3) Make sure that the special precaution on the door damper and emergency operation cylinder is completed (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-860-003).
Subtask 12-22-52-640-062-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Lubrication of the External Control Handle and the Telescopic Arm
(1) Lubrication of the external control handle as follows:
(a) Apply Silicone base Grease-General Purpose - - (Material No.03JBA1) on the pivot points.
(b) Remove the unwanted grease with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(2) Lubrication of the telescopic arm (1) of the door damper and emergency operation cylinder as follows:
(a) Clean the lubrication fitting with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(b) Use the GUN - GREASE to fill the fitting until the new Synthetic Ester base Grease-General Purpose Low Temp - (Material No.03HBD9) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) comes out. Refer to the lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
(c) Remove the unwanted grease with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Oily Film System (Material No.12ABE2) on the inner surface and adjacent area of the external control handle.
Subtask 12-22-52-640-062-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Lubrication of the external control handle as follows:
(a) Apply Silicone base Grease-General Purpose - - (Material No.03JBA1) on the pivot points.
(b) Remove the unwanted grease with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(2) Lubrication of the telescopic arm (1) of the door damper and emergency operation cylinder as follows:
(a) Clean the lubrication fitting with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(b) Use the GUN - GREASE to fill the fitting until the new Synthetic Ester base Grease-General Purpose Low Temp - (Material No.03HBD9) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) comes out. Refer to the lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
(c) Remove the unwanted grease with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Oily Film System (Material No.12ABE2) on the inner surface and adjacent area of the external control handle.
A. Lubrication of the External Control Handle and the Telescopic Arm
(1) Lubrication of the external control handle as follows:
(a) Apply Silicone base Grease-General Purpose - - (Material No.03JBA1) on the pivot points.
(b) Remove the unwanted grease with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(2) Lubrication of the telescopic arm (1) of the door damper and emergency operation cylinder as follows:
(a) Clean the lubrication fitting with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(b) Use the GUN - GREASE to fill the fitting until the new Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) comes out.
(c) Remove the unwanted grease with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Oily Film System (Material No.12ABE2) on the inner surface and the adjacent area of the external control handle.
5. Close-up(1) Lubrication of the external control handle as follows:
(a) Apply Silicone base Grease-General Purpose - - (Material No.03JBA1) on the pivot points.
(b) Remove the unwanted grease with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(2) Lubrication of the telescopic arm (1) of the door damper and emergency operation cylinder as follows:
(a) Clean the lubrication fitting with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(b) Use the GUN - GREASE to fill the fitting until the new Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) comes out.
(c) Remove the unwanted grease with the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Oily Film System (Material No.12ABE2) on the inner surface and the adjacent area of the external control handle.
Subtask 12-22-52-410-062-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Do the special precaution for the door damper and emergency operation cylinder (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-860-004).
(3) Close the applicable door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Do the special precaution for the door damper and emergency operation cylinder (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-860-004).
(3) Close the applicable door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
