Lubricate Spoiler No 1 to 5 Actuator Attachments
WARNING:

- THE FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES
- THE LANDING GEAR AND THE RELATED DOORS
- COMPONENTS THAT MOVE.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO MAINTENANCE TASKS ON THE WING TRAILING EDGE:
1. Reason for the Job- DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS.
- DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS.
- MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

A. Safety Precautions
(1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Extend the flaps fully (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-008).
(2) On panel 114VU, make sure that the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION is installed on the flap/slat control lever.
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) on the flap/slat control lever (panel 114VU) to tell persons not to operate the flap system.
(4) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position under the applicable spoiler.
Subtask 12-22-27-865-058-A (1) Extend the flaps fully (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-008).
(2) On panel 114VU, make sure that the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION is installed on the flap/slat control lever.

A. Lubrication of Spoiler No.1 to 5 Servo Control Bearings
(1) Clean the greasers with a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(2) Lubricate the spoiler servo-control bearings through the greasers with one of the greases that follow:
1 If the grease comes out from the greaser, extend the related spoiler (Ref. AMM TASK 27-60-00-866-002).
2 Lubricate the spoiler servo-control bearings through the greaser until the grease comes out on each side of the spherical bearings.
(3) Remove the unwanted grease from the greasers and the spoiler servo-control bearings with a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(4) After lubrication of the spoiler servo-control bearings, make sure that the greaser ball is installed correctly.
(5) If the spoiler is extended, retract it (Ref. AMM TASK 27-60-00-866-002).
5. Close-up(1) Clean the greasers with a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(2) Lubricate the spoiler servo-control bearings through the greasers with one of the greases that follow:
- Synthetic Ester base Grease-General Purpose Low Temp - (Material No.03HBD9)
- Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened - (Material No.03GBD1)
- Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) .
NOTE: For lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements, refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
(a) Make sure that the grease comes out on each side of the spherical bearings: 1 If the grease comes out from the greaser, extend the related spoiler (Ref. AMM TASK 27-60-00-866-002).
2 Lubricate the spoiler servo-control bearings through the greaser until the grease comes out on each side of the spherical bearings.
(3) Remove the unwanted grease from the greasers and the spoiler servo-control bearings with a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(4) After lubrication of the spoiler servo-control bearings, make sure that the greaser ball is installed correctly.
(5) If the spoiler is extended, retract it (Ref. AMM TASK 27-60-00-866-002).

C. Operational Test
(1) Do the operational test of the spoiler hydraulic actuation (Ref. AMM TASK 27-64-00-710-001).

D. Aircraft Configuration
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Retract the flaps fully (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-009).

E. Removal of the Equipment
