A. Get Access

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE LOCK PIN IS CORRECTLY INSTALLED IN THE REGULATOR VALVE ASSEMBLY OF THE INFLATION RESERVOIR. THIS SAFETIES ALL COMPONENTS OF THE INFLATION SYSTEM IN OPERATION AND PREVENTS ACCIDENTAL:

DISCHARGE OF THE INFLATION RESERVOIR
DEPLOYMENT OF THE ESCAPE SLIDE

WHICH CAN CAUSE INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.

(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at the zones 193 and 194.
(2) Remove the offwing escape-slide enclosure (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-42-000-001).

Subtask 05-21-90-010-052-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at the zones 193 and 194.
(2) Remove the access panels 193AT and 194AT (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-11-000-001).

4. Procedure
Subtask 05-21-90-210-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Inspection
(1) Do a general visual inspection of the stowage for the slide stowage compartment in the upper wing fairing.
(2) Make sure that there are no signs of corrosion, cracks or damage.
(3) Make sure that all the installations (wiring, ducting, piping) are attached correctly.

Subtask 05-21-90-210-052-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Inspection
(1) Do a general visual inspection of the compartment behind the panels 193AT and 194AT.
(2) Make sure that there are no signs of corrosion, cracks or damage.
(3) Make sure that all the installations (wiring) are attached correctly.

5. Close-up
Subtask 05-21-90-410-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Close Access
(1) Install the offwing escape-slide enclosure (Ref. AMM TASK 25-62-42-400-001).
(2) Remove the access platform(s).

Subtask 05-21-90-410-052-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Close Access
(1) Install the access panels 193AT and 194AT (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-11-400-001).
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
