A. If the operational test is not satisfactory:
(a) do a check to make sure that the motor start relay 36MG functions correctly when energized:
Subtask 38-31-00-810-063-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL - Refer to the bite test last leg or previous legs report.
- open and close the circuit breaker 35MG (Ref. TSM TASK 24-00-00-810-818).
- remove and clean the TRANSDUCER,DIFF.-PRES [42MG] , AMM 38-31-68-000-001 and AMM 38-31-68-400-001.
- replace the TRANSDUCER,DIFF.-PRES [42MG] , AMM 38-31-68-000-001 and AMM 38-31-68-400-001.
(a) do a check to make sure that the motor start relay 36MG functions correctly when energized:
- make sure that the voltage at the connector 36MG-A of the motor start relay is correct ASM 383110.
- make sure that the circuit breakers 32MG, 33MG, 34MG are open.
- with the circuit breakers 33MG open and 35MG closed do a continuity check between terminals L1-T1, L2-T2 and L3-T3 on the motor start relay 36MG ASM 383110.
- make sure that the circuit breakers 32MG, 33MG, 34MG and 35MG are open.
- make sure that there is no voltage at the connector 36MG-A of the motor, do a continuity check between terminals L1-T1, L2-T2 and L3-T3 on the motor start relay 36MG ASM 383110.
- replace the RELAY [36MG] , AMM 38-31-36-000-001 and AMM 38-31-36-400-001.
- do a check of the fan phase relay ASM 383110, if necessary:
- replace the RELAY-FAN PHASE OFF [38MG] , ESPM 2046500.
- replace the GENERATOR,VACUUM [37MG] , AMM 38-31-64-000-001 and AMM 38-31-64-400-001.
