B. Do the bite test AMM 38-31-00-740-001.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 38-31-00-810-063-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If the operational test is not satisfactory:
  • Refer to the bite test last leg or previous legs report.
   (1) If the LAST LEG REPORT or PREVIOUS LEGS REPORT page gives the maintenance message CHECK GEN POWER:
   (2) If the fault continues:
   (3) If the fault continues:
   (4) If the fault continues:
     (a) do a check to make sure that the motor start relay 36MG functions correctly when energized:
  • make sure that the voltage at the connector 36MG-A of the motor start relay is correct ASM 383110.
  • make sure that the circuit breakers 32MG, 33MG, 34MG are open.
  • with the circuit breakers 33MG open and 35MG closed do a continuity check between terminals L1-T1, L2-T2 and L3-T3 on the motor start relay 36MG ASM 383110.
     (b) Do a check to make sure that the motor start relay 36MG functions correctly when de-energized:
  • make sure that the circuit breakers 32MG, 33MG, 34MG and 35MG are open.
  • make sure that there is no voltage at the connector 36MG-A of the motor, do a continuity check between terminals L1-T1, L2-T2 and L3-T3 on the motor start relay 36MG ASM 383110.
   (5) If there is no continuity in step (4) (a), or continuity in step (4) (b):
   (6) If the fault continues:
   (7) If the fault continues:

   (1) If the LAST LEG REPORT or PREVIOUS LEGS REPORT page gives the maintenance message VACU GEN SUPPLY:
   (2) If the fault continues:
     (a) Do a check to make sure that the motor start relay 36MG functions correctly when energized:
  • make sure that the voltage at the connector 36MG-A of the motor start relay is correct ASM 383110.
  • make sure that the circuit breakers 32MG, 33MG, 34MG are open.
  • with the circuit breakers 33MG open and 35MG closed do a continuity check between terminals L1-T1, L2-T2 and L3-T3 on the motor start relay 36MG ASM 383110.

B. Test
   (1) Do the test as given in paragraph 3. A. to check the correct operation.
   (2) After the subsequent flight, make sure that the fault does not continue.
