Subtask 29-23-00-710-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Do this test.
(1) Do a run of both engines AMM 71-00-00-710-003.
(2) On panel 40VU, set the HYD PTU P/BSW to the OFF position.
(3) Look on the HYD page of the SD - DU and check the system pressure of the Green and Yellow hydraulic systems.
(4) Look for external leakages of the Green or Yellow hydraulic system.
(5) Shut down the engines AMM 71-00-00-710-028.
Subtask 29-23-00-710-050-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Do a run of both engines AMM 71-00-00-710-003.
(2) On panel 40VU, set the HYD PTU P/BSW to the OFF position.
(3) Look on the HYD page of the SD - DU and check the system pressure of the Green and Yellow hydraulic systems.
(4) Look for external leakages of the Green or Yellow hydraulic system.
(5) Shut down the engines AMM 71-00-00-710-028.
A. Do this test.
(1) Do a run of both engines AMM 71-00-00-710-003.
(2) On panel 40VU, set the HYD PTU P/BSW to the OFF position.
(3) Look on the HYD page of the SD - DU and check the system pressure of the Green and Yellow hydraulic systems.
(4) Look for external leakages of the Green or Yellow hydraulic system.
(5) Shut down the engines AMM 71-00-00-710-028.
Subtask 29-23-00-710-050-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Do a run of both engines AMM 71-00-00-710-003.
(2) On panel 40VU, set the HYD PTU P/BSW to the OFF position.
(3) Look on the HYD page of the SD - DU and check the system pressure of the Green and Yellow hydraulic systems.
(4) Look for external leakages of the Green or Yellow hydraulic system.
(5) Shut down the engines AMM 71-00-00-710-028.
A. Do this test.
(1) Do a run of both engines AMM 71-00-00-860-823.
(2) On panel 40VU, set the HYD PTU P/BSW to the OFF position.
(3) Look on the HYD page of the SD - DU and check the system pressure of the Green and Yellow hydraulic systems.
(4) Look for external leakages of the Green or Yellow hydraulic system.
(5) Shut down the engines AMM 71-00-00-860-814.
4. Fault Isolation(1) Do a run of both engines AMM 71-00-00-860-823.
(2) On panel 40VU, set the HYD PTU P/BSW to the OFF position.
(3) Look on the HYD page of the SD - DU and check the system pressure of the Green and Yellow hydraulic systems.
(4) Look for external leakages of the Green or Yellow hydraulic system.
(5) Shut down the engines AMM 71-00-00-860-814.
Subtask 29-23-00-810-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If there is an external leakage in the Green or Yellow hydraulic system:
(a) Do a check of the internal leakage of the Green and Yellow hydraulic system and replace the defective component(s) as necessary AMM 29-00-00-280-001 and AMM 29-00-00-280-003.
(b) If the internal leakage is in the permitted limits, or the fault continues:
Subtask 29-23-00-810-052-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL - Tighten the related nut or replace the defective component(s).
- Do the fault procedure for low pressure of the power transfer unit (Ref. TSM TASK 29-23-00-810-811) and (Ref. TSM TASK 29-23-00-810-812).
(a) Do a check of the internal leakage of the Green and Yellow hydraulic system and replace the defective component(s) as necessary AMM 29-00-00-280-001 and AMM 29-00-00-280-003.
(b) If the internal leakage is in the permitted limits, or the fault continues:
- Replace the applicable PUMP VARIABLE DTS [1030GK] AMM 29-11-51-000-040 and AMM 29-11-51-400-040 or PUMP VARIABLE DTS [3030GD] AMM 29-13-51-000-004 and AMM 29-13-51-400-004.
NOTE: The hydraulic supply pump with the largest difference from 3000 psi is the pump that must be replaced.
B. If the difference of the system pressure between the Green and Yellow hydraulic systems was during run of both engines less than 500 psi:
(1) Do a check of the clogging indicators of the HP FILTER G [1048GM] and HP FILTER Y [3048GM] .
(4) If the fault continues, replace the PRIORITY VALVE [1064GM] or PRIORITY VALVE [3064GM] AMM 29-11-33-000-001 and AMM 29-11-33-400-001 or AMM 29-13-33-000-001 and AMM 29-13-33-400-001.
(5) If the fault continues, replace the PTU [1088GM] AMM 29-23-41-000-001 and AMM 29-23-41-400-001.
Subtask 29-23-00-810-050-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Do a check of the clogging indicators of the HP FILTER G [1048GM] and HP FILTER Y [3048GM] .
- If necessary, replace the filter elements AMM 29-11-45-610-001 and AMM 29-13-45-610-001.
- If necessary, replace the filter element AMM 29-11-43-610-040 or AMM 29-11-43-610-041 or AMM 29-11-43-610-010 or AMM 29-11-43-610-802.
(4) If the fault continues, replace the PRIORITY VALVE [1064GM] or PRIORITY VALVE [3064GM] AMM 29-11-33-000-001 and AMM 29-11-33-400-001 or AMM 29-13-33-000-001 and AMM 29-13-33-400-001.
(5) If the fault continues, replace the PTU [1088GM] AMM 29-23-41-000-001 and AMM 29-23-41-400-001.
C. If there is an external leakage in the Green or Yellow hydraulic system:
(a) Do a check of the internal leakage of the Green and Yellow hydraulic system and replace the defective component(s) as necessary AMM 29-00-00-280-001 and AMM 29-00-00-280-003.
(b) If the internal leakage is in the permitted limits, or the fault continues:
Subtask 29-23-00-810-052-E ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL - Tighten the related nut or replace the defective component(s).
- Do the fault procedure for low pressure of the power transfer unit (Ref. TSM TASK 29-23-00-810-811) and (Ref. TSM TASK 29-23-00-810-812).
(a) Do a check of the internal leakage of the Green and Yellow hydraulic system and replace the defective component(s) as necessary AMM 29-00-00-280-001 and AMM 29-00-00-280-003.
(b) If the internal leakage is in the permitted limits, or the fault continues:
- Replace the applicable PUMP VARIABLE DTS [1030GK] AMM 29-11-51-000-805 and AMM 29-11-51-400-805 or PUMP VARIABLE DTS [3030GD] AMM 29-13-51-000-806 and AMM 29-13-51-400-806.
NOTE: The hydraulic supply pump with the largest difference from 3000 psi is the pump that must be replaced.
D. If the difference of the system pressure between the Green and Yellow hydraulic systems was during run of both engines less than 500 psi:
(1) Do a check of the clogging indicators of the HP FILTER G [1048GM] and HP FILTER Y [3048GM] .
(4) If the fault continues, replace the PRIORITY VALVE [1064GM] or PRIORITY VALVE [3064GM] AMM 29-11-33-000-001 and AMM 29-11-33-400-001 or AMM 29-13-33-000-001 and AMM 29-13-33-400-001.
(5) If the fault continues, replace the PTU [1088GM] AMM 29-23-41-000-001 and AMM 29-23-41-400-001.
Subtask 29-23-00-710-053-A (1) Do a check of the clogging indicators of the HP FILTER G [1048GM] and HP FILTER Y [3048GM] .
- If necessary, replace the filter elements AMM 29-11-45-610-001 and AMM 29-13-45-610-001.
- If necessary, replace the filter element AMM 29-11-43-610-802.
(4) If the fault continues, replace the PRIORITY VALVE [1064GM] or PRIORITY VALVE [3064GM] AMM 29-11-33-000-001 and AMM 29-11-33-400-001 or AMM 29-13-33-000-001 and AMM 29-13-33-400-001.
(5) If the fault continues, replace the PTU [1088GM] AMM 29-23-41-000-001 and AMM 29-23-41-400-001.
E. Do the test as given in para. 3. to make sure that the operation is correct.
