A. Safety Precautions
   (1) Do the procedure to prevent engine motoring and to stop the electrical supply to the Electronic Engine Control (EEC)
(Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-832).

B. Get Access
   (1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-802):
     (a) FOR [4020KM1] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 1)

     (b) FOR [4020KM2] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 2)

4. Procedure
CAUTION: WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
Subtask 79-35-21-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Oil-Debris Monitoring (ODM) Sensor
   (1) Removal of the protection covers:
CAUTION: REMOVE THE PROTECTION COVERS FROM THE OPENINGS AS NECESSARY TO PREVENT ENGINE DAMAGE.
     (a) Make sure that you remove all the necessary COVER - PROTECTION to prevent damage to the engine.
   (2) Find the ODM sensor (1) attached to the oil tank at the 9 o'clock position.
   (3) Make sure that the oil system is not pressurized:
     (a) Wait five minutes after the engine shutdown.
     (b) Find the oil tank cap on the left side of the fan case.
     (c) Open the oil tank cap to make sure that there is no pressure in the oil system (Ref. AMM TASK 79-11-02-000-801).
     (d) Close the oil tank cap (Ref. AMM TASK 79-11-02-000-801).
   (4) Remove the ODM sensor (1) from the oil tank inlet housing:
     (a) Disconnect the wiring harness (W03) connector (P36) from the ODM sensor (1) with the PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT.
     (b) Remove the wiring harness (W03) from the bracket (3) spring clips.
     (c) Put a lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.P05-005) below the ODM sensor (1) to absorb the remaining oil.
     (d) Remove the three bolts (2) and the bracket (3) from the tube (LR03).
     (e) Remove the four bolts (16) and the two clamps (15) that attach the tube (LR03) to the brackets.
     (f) Remove and discard the face seal (4) from the ODM sensor (1).
     (g) Bend the tube (LR03) away from the ODM sensor (1).
     (h) Remove the ODM sensor (1) from the oil tank inlet housing.
     (i) Remove and discard the packing (5) from the ODM sensor (1).
   (5) Installation of the protection covers:
CAUTION: INSTALL PROTECTION COVERS ON ALL THE OPENINGS IMMEDIATELY TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
     (a) Make sure that you install COVER - PROTECTION as necessary to prevent damage to the engine.
