Subtask 79-21-41-860-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
   (2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

4. Procedure
Subtask 79-21-41-020-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Remove all covers/caps/plugs from the openings.
   (1) Remove the crank cover
     (a) Remove the two nuts (16) and the washers (15) that attach the crank cover (14) to the gearbox (18).
     (b) Remove the crank cover (14).
     (c) Discard the packing (13).

B. Install the sleeve
   (1) Install four new AIPC 79-21-41-80-070 PACKINGS (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-13-911-010) on to the two ends of the sleeve (3).
   (2) Install one end of the sleeve (3) in to the seat adjacent to the mounting flange of the oil pressure pump.
   (3) Install the suction strainer
     (a) Install two new AIPC 79-21-41-80-080 PACKINGS (11) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-13-911-010) on to the suction strainer (12).
     (b) Install the suction strainer (12) in to the seat adjacent to the mounting flange of the oil pressure pump.
   (4) Install the oil pressure pump and filter assembly
     (a) If you install a new oil pressure pump and filter assembly, install a new oil filter (Ref. AMM TASK 79-21-44-400-010).
NOTE: Spare oil pressure pump and filter assemblies are delivered without filter element.
     (b) Install a new AIPC 79-21-41-80-060 PACKING (4) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-13-911-010) on to the flange of the oil pressure pump (10).
     (c) Apply V10-077lubricant (engine oil), to the oil pump seat on the gearbox casing.
     (d) Install an applicable wrench on to the starter idler gear.
NOTE: Use the wrench to turn the gear train of the gearbox to engage the gear of the oil pressure pump with the oil pressure pump drive gear.
     (e) Install the oil pressure pump and filter assembly (10) on to the front flange of the gearbox.
     (f) Make sure that the sleeve (3) and the suction strainer (12) engage with their seats on the oil pressure pump (10).
     (g) Engage the gear of the oil pressure pump (10) with the oil pressure pump drive gear.
     (h) Install the six washers (5) and the nuts (6) that attach the oil pressure pump and filter assembly (10) to the gearbox casing.
     (i) TORQUE the nuts (6) to between 95 and 85 lbf.in (1.07 and 0.96 m.daN ) T (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
     (j) Remove the wrench from the starter idler gear.
   (5) Connect the ACOC oil supply tube
     (a) Install a new AIPC 79-21-41-80-030 PACKING (9) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-13-911-010) on to the flange of the tube (8).
     (b) Attach the tube (8) to the oil pressure pump (10) with the three bolts (7).
     (c) TORQUE the bolts (7) to between 110 and 90 lbf.in (1.24 and 1.02 m.daN ) T (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
   (6) Install the crank cover
F Crank Cover ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
     (a) Install a new AIPC 72-60-21-80-080 PACKING (13) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-13-911-010) on to the flange of the crank cover (14).
     (b) Apply V10-077lubricant (engine oil) to the crank cover seat on the gearbox casing.
     (c) Install the crank cover (14) on to the gearbox and align it with the studs.
     (d) Install the two washers (15) and the nuts (16).
     (e) TORQUE the nuts (16) to between 95 and 85 lbf.in (1.07 and 0.96 m.daN ) T (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).

C. Fill the oil tank (Ref. AMM TASK 12-13-79-610-011).

   (3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).

B. Do an idle leak check (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-012) or a dry motor leak check (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-045).
