A. Removal of the lubrication unit:
   (1) Disconnect the electrical connector 4004ENA.
   (2) Put a CONTAINER 30 L(8 USGAL) minimum capacity below the lubrication unit to collect a possible oil leakage during removal.
   (3) Remove the bolts from the flange of each of these tubes:
CAUTION: USE TWO WRENCHES TO REMOVE OR INSTALL THE TUBE COUPLING NUTS:
  • ONE WRENCH TO HOLD THE UNION, AND
  • ONE TO LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE COUPLING NUT.
THIS PREVENTS DAMAGE TO THE PARTS.
     (a) The forward sump scavenge tube (80).
     (b) The aft sump scavenge tube (70).
     (c) The AGB scavenge tube (60).
     (d) The TGB scavenge tube (50).
     (e) The oil supply tube (120) from the anti-siphon device.
     (f) The oil return tube (100) to servo fuel heater.
NOTE: If gaskets are still in good condition, they may be reused.
   (4) Disconnect the 3 oil supply (pressure) tubes (30), (40) and (110).
   (5) Disconnect the 2 hoses comming from the oil differential pressure switch.
   (6) Remove the lubrication unit:
CAUTION: HOLD THE LUBRICATION UNIT DURING CLAMP REMOVAL TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO DRIVE SHAFT AND SPLINES.
     (a) Remove the clamp (90) that attaches the lubrication unit to the AGB.
     (b) Pull and remove the lubrication unit from the AGB. Remove and discard the O-rings (10) and (20).
     (c) If Drive shaft (200) comes out from the AGB with the lubrification unit, remove and discard O-ring (210). Reinstall the lubrification unit drive shaft with new O-ring.
   (7) Remove the nipples (140), (150) and (160). Remove and discard the O-rings (170), (180) and (190).
