A. Position lubrication unit above an appropriate tray then pour lubrication system corrosion preventive oil (Material No.CP5067) into the unit via the 'OIL IN FROM TANK' orifice. Manualy rotate the drive shaft several turns then shake the unit until the oil drains from each orifice/port and also from the calibrated orifices at the end of drive shaft.
   (1) Allow oil remaining in the unit to drip for one minute.
   (2) Install the two caps (40) on nipples (30) of AGB and forward sump.
   (3) Install cap (10) on aft sump nipple (20).
   (4) Install cover (80) on centering flange and secure with bolt (70) and nut (90).
   (5) Blank OIL FROM TANK, TGB, AGB, aft sump and forward sump suction orifices with the five storage plates (50) and secure with two bolts (60)for each plate.
   (6) Blank OIL TO TANK orifice with the storage plate (100) and secure with two bolts (110).
NOTE: The lubrication unit so preserved , may be installed on an engine without preliminary testing when taken out from storage
