Subtask 78-37-51-941-072-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 78-37-51-010-091-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:

B. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-010):
(a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

(b) FOR [1000EM2] (ENGINE-2)
447AL 448AR.
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position in the left side of engine.

(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position in the left side of engine.
C. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

D. Make sure that the Hydraulic Reservoirs are Depressurized
(1) For engine 1 depressurize the green hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(2) For engine 2 depressurize the yellow hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
4. Procedure(1) For engine 1 depressurize the green hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(2) For engine 2 depressurize the yellow hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
Subtask 78-37-51-020-063-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Thrust Reverser Hydraulic Valve Filter
(1) Put a CAN - DRAIN below the filter.
(2) Cut and remove locking wire (9). Remove the fire blanket (7) and (8).
(3) Loosen the filter bowl (10) from the filter head (1).
(4) Remove the filter element (2) from the filter bowl (10).
(5) Remove seals C-ring (4), O-ring (12) and back-up ring (13). Discard the seals C-ring (4), O-ring (12) and back-up ring (13).
(6) Remove seal (6) from the Differential Pressure Indicator (DPI) (5) in the filter bowl using EXTRACTION TOOL - SEAL. Discard the seal (6).
(7) Remove the CAN - DRAIN.
(1) Put a CAN - DRAIN below the filter.
(2) Cut and remove locking wire (9). Remove the fire blanket (7) and (8).
(3) Loosen the filter bowl (10) from the filter head (1).
(4) Remove the filter element (2) from the filter bowl (10).
(5) Remove seals C-ring (4), O-ring (12) and back-up ring (13). Discard the seals C-ring (4), O-ring (12) and back-up ring (13).
(6) Remove seal (6) from the Differential Pressure Indicator (DPI) (5) in the filter bowl using EXTRACTION TOOL - SEAL. Discard the seal (6).
(7) Remove the CAN - DRAIN.
