Subtask 78-37-51-941-071-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestals, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 78-37-51-010-089-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestals, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:

B. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-010):

(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position in the left side of engine.

(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position in the left side of engine.
C. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

D. Make sure that the Hydraulic Reservoirs are Depressurized
(1) For engine 1 depressurize the green hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(2) For engine 2 depressurize the yellow hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
4. Procedure(1) For engine 1 depressurize the green hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(2) For engine 2 depressurize the yellow hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
Subtask 78-37-51-020-062-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Thrust Reverser Hydraulic Filter
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (8) from the thrust reverser isolation valve (9).
(3) Remove the bolt (13), the washer (14) and the nut (15) that attach the clamp (16).
(4) Disconnect the hydraulic tubes.
(a) Put a CONTAINER 2 L (0.53 USGAL) below the tubes.
(b) Disconnect the pressure supply tube (4), control tube (12) and return tube (11). Let the hydraulic fluid drain into the container.
(c) Put PLUG - BLANKING on the disconnected line ends.
(d) Remove the container and put a CLOTH - PROTECTIVE below the isolation valve.
(5) Remove the bolts (2) and washers (1) that attach the support plate (3) (where the isolation valve and its hydraulic filter assembly are installed) below the pylon.
(6) Remove the support plate assembly (3) from the pylon.
(a) Disconnect and remove the pressure supply tube (10) from the filter.
(b) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected line end.
(7) Loosen and remove the four bolts (6) and nuts (7) that attach the valve filter assembly on the support plate (3).
(8) Remove the filter assembly from the support plate (3).
(9) Remove the protective cloth from the engine.
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (8) from the thrust reverser isolation valve (9).
NOTE: If necessary, use the PLIERS - NOSE, SOFT, LONG to loosen the electrical connector.
(2) Put CAP - BLANKING on the electrical connector of the harness and on the isolation valve. (3) Remove the bolt (13), the washer (14) and the nut (15) that attach the clamp (16).
(4) Disconnect the hydraulic tubes.
(a) Put a CONTAINER 2 L (0.53 USGAL) below the tubes.
(b) Disconnect the pressure supply tube (4), control tube (12) and return tube (11). Let the hydraulic fluid drain into the container.
(c) Put PLUG - BLANKING on the disconnected line ends.
(d) Remove the container and put a CLOTH - PROTECTIVE below the isolation valve.
(5) Remove the bolts (2) and washers (1) that attach the support plate (3) (where the isolation valve and its hydraulic filter assembly are installed) below the pylon.
(6) Remove the support plate assembly (3) from the pylon.
(a) Disconnect and remove the pressure supply tube (10) from the filter.
(b) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected line end.
(7) Loosen and remove the four bolts (6) and nuts (7) that attach the valve filter assembly on the support plate (3).
(8) Remove the filter assembly from the support plate (3).
(9) Remove the protective cloth from the engine.
