A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 78-37-51-010-086-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.

B. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040):

(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position on the left side of the engine.

D. Depressurization of the Hydraulic Reservoirs
(1) For engine 1:

- Depressurize the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001)
- Depressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system.

Subtask 78-37-51-020-061-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Thrust Reverser Hydraulic Filter Assembly
(1) Remove the bolt (5), the washer (10) and the clamp (15).
(2) Disconnect the hydraulic tubing as follows:
(b) Disconnect the pressure supply tube (20) from the hydraulic filter (30) and let the hydraulic fluid drain into the container.
(c) Disconnect and remove the pressure supply tube (25) (located between the filter (30) and the isolation valve (35)).
(d) Remove the container and put a CLOTH - PROTECTIVE below the isolation valve.
(e) Put PLUG - BLANKING on the disconnected line ends and the valve and filter ports.
(3) Remove the four bolts (40) and the four washers (45), that attach the filter (30) to the support plate (50).
(4) Remove the filter (30) from the support plate (50).
(5) Remove the protective cloth from the engine.
(1) Remove the bolt (5), the washer (10) and the clamp (15).
(2) Disconnect the hydraulic tubing as follows:
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
CAUTION:
USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTER TORQUE TO THE NIPPLE WHEN YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT HYDRAULIC LINES ON NIPPLES.
(a) Put a CONTAINER 10 L(2 1/2 USGAL) below the hydraulic tubes. (b) Disconnect the pressure supply tube (20) from the hydraulic filter (30) and let the hydraulic fluid drain into the container.
(c) Disconnect and remove the pressure supply tube (25) (located between the filter (30) and the isolation valve (35)).
(d) Remove the container and put a CLOTH - PROTECTIVE below the isolation valve.
(e) Put PLUG - BLANKING on the disconnected line ends and the valve and filter ports.
(3) Remove the four bolts (40) and the four washers (45), that attach the filter (30) to the support plate (50).
(4) Remove the filter (30) from the support plate (50).
(5) Remove the protective cloth from the engine.
