3. Job Set-up
Subtask 78-36-41-941-062-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
   (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
     (a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
   (2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
   (3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
     (a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
     (b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

B. Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040).
   (1) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

C. Make the thrust reverser unserviceable (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-481-041).
4. Procedure
Subtask 78-36-41-820-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Check of the Half Door Latch Adjustment
NOTE: This procedure purpose is to check the latch adjustment but should not be used to adjust the half door latches.
   (1) Unlock the forward latch (1), the three others remain locked.
F Thrust Reverser Doors Latches ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (2) Engage the latch hook in the stirrup but do not push on the latch handle.
F Check of the Latch Adjustment. ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (3) Place DYNAMOMETER 14 TO 19 DAN ( 30.27 TO 41.09 LBF) - PUSH on to the latch handle tip.
   (4) Check the force maximum indication when you lock the half door latch.
   (5) Check if the recorded value is within tolerances given in.
F Check of the Latch Adjustment. ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (6) If the recorded value is not within tolerances, readjust all latches (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-41-820-040).
   (7) Check successively each latch adjustment from front to rear per procedure in paragraph 4.A (1) thru 4.A (6).
5. Close-up

A. Make the thrust reverser serviceable (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-081-041).

B. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-040).

   (3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
