WARNING: DO NOT GET HYDRAULIC FLUID ON YOUR SKIN, IN YOUR EYES OR IN YOUR MOUTH. HYDRAULIC FLUID IS POISONOUS AND CAN GO THROUGH YOUR SKIN AND INTO YOUR BODY. FLUSH HYDRAULIC FLUID FROM YOUR EYES, MOUTH OR SKIN WITH WATER. GET MEDICAL AID IF YOU GET HYDRAULIC FLUID IN YOUR EYES OR MOUTH.
CAUTION: DO NOT LET HYDRAULIC FLUID FALL ON THE ENGINE. UNWANTED HYDRAULIC FLUID MUST BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY WITH A CLEAN LINT FREE CLOTH. THE FLUID CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE PROTECTION AND TO SOME PARTS.
   (1) Remove the tube and hose clamps, three places.
   (2) Disconnect the cross-over hydraulic hose (13) from the non-locking actuator (15).
   (3) Disconnect the hose nut of the cross-over flexshaft/hose (14) from the non-locking actuator (15).
   (4) Pulling the end of the flexshaft from the actuator
CAUTION: DO NOT REMOVE EITHER OF THE TRIANGULAR-FLANGED-ADAPTERS WITH THREE WIRELOCKED BOLTS. IF A TRIANGULAR-FLANGED-ADAPTER IS REMOVED, DAMAGE TO THE ACTUATOR CAN OCCUR.
     (a) Pull the end of the flexshaft (19) from the actuator.
NOTE: Do not turn the flexshaft more than one-eighth of a turn while one end is still engaged.
   (5) Disconnect the tube nut of the lower hydraulic tube (16) from the non-locking actuator.
   (6) Disconnect the tube nut of the lower flexshaft/tube (17) from the non-locking actuator.

     (b) Remove the actuator pins (38) from the actuator and the forward support (39).
   (2) Remove the bolt (31) and the bushing (32) that attach the actuator rod end to the translating sleeve bracket (34).
   (3) Remove the actuator from the Aft support.
     (a) Make a mark on each half of the cushion halves (36). These marks will be used to align the cushion halves on installation.
NOTE: The loose cushion half installed on the actuator is not concentric. When it is installed it must be installed in the same position from which it was removed. Make a mark on it before you remove it.
     (b) Remove the two nuts (44) and (47), four washers (45) and (46), two bolts (43) and (48) and the clamp half (49).
