A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(3) Make sure that:
(5) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position.

B. Get Access

A. Installation of the One or Eleven O'clock Strut and Strut Bushing on the Left or Right Half Door as follows:
(1) Installation of the one or eleven o'clock strut:
(a) Attach the strut to the 12 o'clock inner cut corner with four screws (80), four screws (90) and eight nuts (100). Do not torque at this time.
(2) Installation of the one or eleven o'clock strut bushing:

(a) Install the bushing (40) on the pin assembly (30).

(c) Install the pin assembly (31) on the strut (70).

(d) Install the two screws (10) and two new nuts (20).
(e) TORQUE the nuts (100) and the AIPC 78-32-01-02-100 NUTS (20) to between 40 and 31 lbf.in (0.45 and 0.35 m.daN )

(3) Apply sealant:
(b) Apply a bead of RTV 732 (Material No.CP2242) to fill the clearance between the strut and the core cowl. Let cure for 24 hours at 20-25°C (68-76°F).
(c) Apply a layer of RTV 106 (Material No.CP2267) on the pin (IPL 5-10) and nuts to make the joint with the MA25S layer. Make the sealant smooth with the aerodynamic surfaces. Let cure for 2 hours at 20-25°C (68-76°F).
(4) Install the access door (50) with screws (60) (5 positions).
5. Close-up(1) Installation of the one or eleven o'clock strut:
(a) Attach the strut to the 12 o'clock inner cut corner with four screws (80), four screws (90) and eight nuts (100). Do not torque at this time.
(2) Installation of the one or eleven o'clock strut bushing:

(a) Install the bushing (40) on the pin assembly (30).
NOTE: If the bushing is worn or damaged, you must replace the AIPC 78-32-01-02-110 BUSHING (40).
(b) Install the pin assembly (30) on the strut (70). END OF PRE SB RA32078-72
POST SB RA32078-72
(c) Install the pin assembly (31) on the strut (70).
NOTE: If the pin assembly (31) is worn or damaged you must replace the entire AIPC 78-32-01-02-080 PIN ASSEMBLY (31).

(d) Install the two screws (10) and two new nuts (20).
(e) TORQUE the nuts (100) and the AIPC 78-32-01-02-100 NUTS (20) to between 40 and 31 lbf.in (0.45 and 0.35 m.daN )
. (3) Apply sealant:
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
(a) Apply a bead of sealant (Material No.CP2243) around the edges of the angle fittings (2 places) on the 12 o'clock inner cut corner and on the strut. Let the sealant dry for 30 to 48 hours at 20-25°C (68-76°F). (b) Apply a bead of RTV 732 (Material No.CP2242) to fill the clearance between the strut and the core cowl. Let cure for 24 hours at 20-25°C (68-76°F).
(c) Apply a layer of RTV 106 (Material No.CP2267) on the pin (IPL 5-10) and nuts to make the joint with the MA25S layer. Make the sealant smooth with the aerodynamic surfaces. Let cure for 2 hours at 20-25°C (68-76°F).
(4) Install the access door (50) with screws (60) (5 positions).
