WARNING:
DO NOT GET THE FLUID ON YOUR SKIN OR IN YOUR EYES. IF YOU DO:
- FLUSH IT AWAY WITH CLEAN WATER
- GET MEDICAL AID.
CAUTION:
USE TWO WRENCHES TO REMOVE OR INSTALL THE TUBE COUPLING NUTS:
- ONE WRENCH TO HOLD THE UNION, AND
- ONE TO LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE COUPLING NUT.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THERE IS NO UNWANTED MATERIAL IN THE PORTS AND ORIFICES OR DAMAGE CAN OCCUR.
CAUTION:
YOU MUST INSTALL HYDRAULIC TUBES WITH HYDRAULIC FLUID AS LUBRICANT.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position.

A. Installation of the Left or Right Supply Pipe of the Door-Opening Actuator
(1) Remove the protective covers from the pipe ends.
(2) Put the supply pipe in position on the forward frame.
(3) Connect the supply pipe to the hydraulic junction box and the inner supply pipe.
(4) TORQUE the coupling nuts to between 150 and 130 lbf.in (1.70 and 1.47 m.daN )
.
(5) Attach the supply pipe to the forward frame with the clamps and bolts.
(6) TORQUE the bolts to between 80 and 70 lbf.in (0.90 and 0.79 m.daN )
.
5. Close-up(1) Remove the protective covers from the pipe ends.
(2) Put the supply pipe in position on the forward frame.
(3) Connect the supply pipe to the hydraulic junction box and the inner supply pipe.
(4) TORQUE the coupling nuts to between 150 and 130 lbf.in (1.70 and 1.47 m.daN )
. (5) Attach the supply pipe to the forward frame with the clamps and bolts.
(6) TORQUE the bolts to between 80 and 70 lbf.in (0.90 and 0.79 m.daN )
. NOTE: Apply a witness line of finish paint EA4 blue 5991 (Material No.CP2245) on all nuts and connections after they are torqued.

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the thrust reverser doors: (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-410-040)
