BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE PARTS AFTER THE ENGINE SHUTDOWN. USE APPLICABLE THERMAL GLOVES. THE ENGINE PARTS CAN STAY HOT FOR ONE HOUR AFTER SHUTDOWN AND CAN BURN YOU.

Subtask 77-32-00-941-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

B. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowls (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-010)

(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position below the engine.

(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position below the engine.
C. Clean the vibration transducer, the harnesses and the clips:
(1) Use a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with cleaning fluid (Material No.V01-002) , to clean the transducer (4), the harnesses (8) and the clips (2) and (3).
(2) Make the components dry with a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
4. Procedure(1) Use a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with cleaning fluid (Material No.V01-002) , to clean the transducer (4), the harnesses (8) and the clips (2) and (3).
(2) Make the components dry with a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
Subtask 77-32-00-210-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Examine the vibration transducer (4) and the harnesses (8) to make sure they are satisfactorily attached.
(1) Use the LIGHT SOURCE - INSPECTION and the MIRROR - INSPECTION. If necessary
(2) If the vibration transducer (4) is loose then examine the bolts (5) for tightness. If any of the bolts are loose then tighten them (Ref. AMM TASK 77-32-15-400-010).
(3) Examine the clips (3) for tightness. If any of the clips are loose then tighten them (Ref. AMM TASK 77-32-15-400-010).
(4) Examine the electrical connectors (6) for tightness. If either is loose then tighten it (Ref. AMM TASK 77-32-15-400-010).
(5) Examine the electrical connectors (7) for tightness. If either is loose then tighten it (Ref. AMM TASK 77-32-43-400-010).
(6) Examine the vibration harnesses (8) for tightness. If either is loose then examine the clips (2). If any of the clips are loose then tighten them (Ref. AMM TASK 77-32-43-400-010).
(7) Examine the electrical connectors (1) for tightness. If either is loose then tighten it (Ref. AMM TASK 77-32-43-400-010).
Subtask 77-32-00-210-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Use the LIGHT SOURCE - INSPECTION and the MIRROR - INSPECTION. If necessary
(2) If the vibration transducer (4) is loose then examine the bolts (5) for tightness. If any of the bolts are loose then tighten them (Ref. AMM TASK 77-32-15-400-010).
(3) Examine the clips (3) for tightness. If any of the clips are loose then tighten them (Ref. AMM TASK 77-32-15-400-010).
(4) Examine the electrical connectors (6) for tightness. If either is loose then tighten it (Ref. AMM TASK 77-32-15-400-010).
(5) Examine the electrical connectors (7) for tightness. If either is loose then tighten it (Ref. AMM TASK 77-32-43-400-010).
(6) Examine the vibration harnesses (8) for tightness. If either is loose then examine the clips (2). If any of the clips are loose then tighten them (Ref. AMM TASK 77-32-43-400-010).
(7) Examine the electrical connectors (1) for tightness. If either is loose then tighten it (Ref. AMM TASK 77-32-43-400-010).
B. Examine the general condition of the vibration transducer (4), the electrical connectors (1, 6 and 7) and the electrical harnesses (8).
Use the LIGHT SOURCE - INSPECTION and the MIRROR - INSPECTION, if necessary.
(1) Examine the vibration transducer (4) for cracks, if the transducer is cracked, reject it.
(2) Examine the vibration transducer (4) for dents and damage, if the transducer has dents or damage, reject it.
(3) Examine the plate which is used to attach the vibration transducer (4) for scratches. If the plate has scratches, reject it.
(4) Examine the electrical connectors (1, 6 and 7) for scratches. Reject the electrical connectors which have scratches with a depth of more than 0.039 in. (1.0 mm).
(5) Examine the electrical connectors (1, 6 and 7) for cracks, dents and deformation. Reject the electrical connectors which have cracks, dents or deformation.
(6) Examine the harnesses (8) for cracks. Reject the harness which is cracked.
(7) Examine the harnesses (8) for dents and damage. Reject the harness which has dents or damage.
(8) Examine the harness (8) for damage to the outer woven sheath. Reject the harness if damage to the outer woven sheath shows the cables.
(9) Examine all the clips ((2) and (3) for damage. Reject the clips which have damage.
5. Close-upUse the LIGHT SOURCE - INSPECTION and the MIRROR - INSPECTION, if necessary.
(1) Examine the vibration transducer (4) for cracks, if the transducer is cracked, reject it.
(2) Examine the vibration transducer (4) for dents and damage, if the transducer has dents or damage, reject it.
(3) Examine the plate which is used to attach the vibration transducer (4) for scratches. If the plate has scratches, reject it.
(4) Examine the electrical connectors (1, 6 and 7) for scratches. Reject the electrical connectors which have scratches with a depth of more than 0.039 in. (1.0 mm).
(5) Examine the electrical connectors (1, 6 and 7) for cracks, dents and deformation. Reject the electrical connectors which have cracks, dents or deformation.
(6) Examine the harnesses (8) for cracks. Reject the harness which is cracked.
(7) Examine the harnesses (8) for dents and damage. Reject the harness which has dents or damage.
(8) Examine the harness (8) for damage to the outer woven sheath. Reject the harness if damage to the outer woven sheath shows the cables.
(9) Examine all the clips ((2) and (3) for damage. Reject the clips which have damage.

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowls (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-010)

(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
