A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
   (2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
   (3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position.

B. Get Access
   (1) Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open: (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-010)

4. Procedure
Subtask 75-23-51-420-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the stage 10 to HPT Air Control Valve
F Stage 10 to HPT Air Control Valve ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
Pre SBE 75-0081
   (1) Install a new AIPC 75-23-51-80-075 C-SEAL (3) to the control valve.
   (2) Apply lubricant.
CAUTION: APPLY THE ANTI-SEIZE COMPOUND MODERATLY.
     (a) Clean the thread of the bolts (5), then apply the anti-seize compound dry film lubricant (Material No.
V10-003) .
   (3) Install the stage 10 to HP Turbine air valve
     (a) Put the valve and the bracket (4) in the correct position on the engine.
     (b) Install the bolts (5).
     (c) TORQUE the bolts to between 220 and 180 lbf.in (2.49 and 2.03 m.daN ) T (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013)
   (4) Install the outlet air tubes.
     (a) Connect the outlet air tubes (2) to the control valve using IAE1R18003 WRENCH.
     (b) TORQUE the union nuts of the outlet air tubes to between 625 and 525 lbf.in (7.06 and 5.93 m.daN ) T (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
   (5) Install the actuation air tube.
     (a) Install the fitting (7) to the valve if necessary.
       1 Install a new AIPC 75-23-51-80-040 SEAL (8) to the fitting (7) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-13-911-010)
       2 Install the fitting (7) to the valve.
       3 TORQUE the fitting (7) to between 325 and 275 lbf.in (3.67 and 3.11 m.daN ) T (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
     (b) Connect the actuation air tube (6) to the valve.
     (c) TORQUE the union nut of the actuation air tube to between 170 and 150 lbf.in (1.92 and 1.70 m.daN ) T (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013)
     (d) Safety the nut with the corrosion resistant steel lockwire (Material No.V02-119) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-40-11-911-012).
   (6) Install the servo air tube.
     (a) Connect the servo air tube (9) to the valve.
     (b) TORQUE the union nut of the servo air tube to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN ) T (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
     (c) Safety the nut with the corrosion resistant steel lockwire (Material No.V02-119) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-40-11-911-012).
   (7) Connect the electrical connector (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-15-912-010) to the control valve

SBE 75-0081: Installation of the stage 10 to HPT air flow adapter
F Stage 10 to HPT Air Flow Adapter ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (8) Install a new AIPC 75-23-48-83-160 C-SEAL (5) to the air flow adapter.
   (9) Apply lubricant.
CAUTION: APPLY THE ANTI-SEIZE COMPOUND MODERATLY.
     (a) Clean the thread of the bolts (3), then apply the anti-seize compound anti-seize compound dry film lubricant (Material No.
V10-003) .
   (10) Install the stage 10 to HP turbine air flow adpater.
     (a) Put the air flow adapter and the bracket (4) in the correct position on the engine.
     (b) Install the bolts (3).
     (c) TORQUE the bolts to between 170 and 150 lbf.in (1.92 and 1.70 m.daN ) T (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
   (11) Install the outlet air tubes.
     (a) Connect the outlet air tubes (2) to the air flow adapter using IAE1R18003 WRENCH.
     (b) TORQUE the union nuts of the outlet air tubes to between 625 and 525 lbf.in (7.06 and 5.93 m.daN ) T (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
   (12) Install the air tube.
     (a) Connect the air tube (6) to the valve.
     (b) TORQUE the union nut of the actuation air tube to between 170 and 150 lbf.in (1.92 and 1.70 m.daN ) T (Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-911-013).
     (c) Safety the nut with the corrosion resistant steel lockwire (Material No.V02-119) .
5. Close-up

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close the left thrust reverser half (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-00-410-010)
     (a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

   (3) Remove the access platform(s).
