A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.
(b) Make sure that the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch was in the OFF position not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
(c) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 75-21-05-010-050-A (1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.

C. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser for Maintenance
Subtask 75-21-05-010-052-A WARNING:
YOU MUST DEACTIVATE THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND IT. IF YOU DO NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE AN INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
(1) Do the deactivation of the thrust reverser system for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-809). D. Get Access
(1) Open the left thrust reverser cowl-door (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-806):

4. Procedure(1) Open the left thrust reverser cowl-door (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-806):

WARNING:
BE CAREFUL NOT TO GET AIRCRAFT FUEL IN YOUR MOUTH OR IN YOUR EYES.
IF YOU GET FUEL ON YOUR SKIN OR ON YOUR CLOTHES, FLUSH IT IMMEDIATELY WITH WATER.
IF NECESSARY, GET MEDICAL HELP.
AIRCRAFT FUEL IS POISONOUS.
Subtask 75-21-05-020-050-A A. Removal of the HPT ACC Valve
(1) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the HPT ACC valve (1).
(2) Use the two WRENCH - TORQUE to disconnect the drain tube (4) B-nut from the HPT ACC valve (1) fitting.
(3) Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the HPT ACC valve (1). If necessary, use the PLIERS - CONNECTOR, JAW, SOFT.
(4) Remove the ACC wye duct (17) as follows:
(a) Remove the hose clamp (19) that attaches the ACC wye duct (17) to the HPT ACC valve (1).
(b) Remove the hose clamp (13) that attaches the ACC wye duct (17) to the Low Pressure Turbine (LPT) ACC valve (12).
(c) Remove the hose clamp (15) that attaches the ACC wye duct (17) to the ACC inlet duct (16).
(d) Remove the ACC wye duct (17) from the engine.
(5) Remove the hose clamp (7) that attaches the HPT aft valve elbow duct (9) to the HPT ACC valve (1).
(6) Remove the four bolts (6) that attach the MTC-ACC fuel HYDR manifold (5) to the HPT ACC valve (1).

(7) Remove and keep the bracket (22).

(8) Remove and discard the gasket seal (3).
(9) Remove the bolt (18) and the washer (20) that attach the HPT ACC valve (1) to the bracket (14).
(10) Hold the HPT ACC valve (1) and remove the two bolts (8) and the two washers (21)that attach the HPT ACC valve (1) to the bracket (10) and the bracket (11) and remove the HPT ACC valve (1) from the engine.
(11) Install the COVER - PROTECTION and the CAP - PROTECTION on all the open ports, open tubes, open hoses and connectors.
Subtask 75-21-05-620-050-A (1) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the HPT ACC valve (1).
(2) Use the two WRENCH - TORQUE to disconnect the drain tube (4) B-nut from the HPT ACC valve (1) fitting.
(3) Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the HPT ACC valve (1). If necessary, use the PLIERS - CONNECTOR, JAW, SOFT.
(4) Remove the ACC wye duct (17) as follows:
(a) Remove the hose clamp (19) that attaches the ACC wye duct (17) to the HPT ACC valve (1).
(b) Remove the hose clamp (13) that attaches the ACC wye duct (17) to the Low Pressure Turbine (LPT) ACC valve (12).
(c) Remove the hose clamp (15) that attaches the ACC wye duct (17) to the ACC inlet duct (16).
(d) Remove the ACC wye duct (17) from the engine.
(5) Remove the hose clamp (7) that attaches the HPT aft valve elbow duct (9) to the HPT ACC valve (1).
(6) Remove the four bolts (6) that attach the MTC-ACC fuel HYDR manifold (5) to the HPT ACC valve (1).

(7) Remove and keep the bracket (22).

(9) Remove the bolt (18) and the washer (20) that attach the HPT ACC valve (1) to the bracket (14).
(10) Hold the HPT ACC valve (1) and remove the two bolts (8) and the two washers (21)that attach the HPT ACC valve (1) to the bracket (10) and the bracket (11) and remove the HPT ACC valve (1) from the engine.
(11) Install the COVER - PROTECTION and the CAP - PROTECTION on all the open ports, open tubes, open hoses and connectors.
B. Preservation of the HPTACC valve
