3. Job Set-up
Subtask 73-21-50-941-068-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
   (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
     (a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
   (2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
   (3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
     (a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
     (b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

B. Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040):
   (1) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

C. Make the thrust reverser unserviceable (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-481-041).

D. Open the thrust reverser doors (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-040):
   (1) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

4. Procedure
Subtask 73-21-50-020-062-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the J15 Harness:
   (1) Disconnect the J15 electrical harness from the ECU and the bleed bias transducer.
   (2) Remove nut (84) and bolt (82) which attach the J15 harness to the cover plate of the clamp assembly at the 5 o'clock location on the flanges G and E (detail B).
   (3) Remove the J15 harness from the clip on the bracket at the 4:30 o'clock location on flange E (detail C), under the ECU.

PRE SB CFM56-5 72-443
   (4) Remove bolt (230) which attach the J15 harness at the 4:00 o'clock location to the bracket of flange E (detail D).
   (5) Remove nut (233) and bolt (231) which attach the J15 harness at the 4:00 o'clock location to the bracket of flange G (detail D).

POST SB CFM56-5 72-443
   (6) Remove bolt (230) which attach the J15 harness at the 4:00 o'clock location to the bracket of flange E. Keep the spacer (234), (detail D).
END OF SB CFM56-5 72-443
   (7) Remove the J15 electrical harness. Install caps on the connectors.
   (8) Remove all the clamps from the harness.
