Removal of the J13 Harness
1. Reason for the Job
This harness connects the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) to the oil temperature sensor, the fuel flowmeter and the 6 o'clock junction box on the core engine.

A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.

A. Removal of the J13 Harness
(1) Disconnect the J13 electrical harness from the ECU, the oil temperature sensor, the fuel flowmeter and the CJ13 connector in the 6 o'clock junction box.

(2) Remove the 2 bolts (82) and nuts (84) which attach the cover plate (85) to the brackets at the 5 o'clock location on flanges G and E (detail A). Pull out the flexible clamp assembly from the brackets and pull out the J13 harness from the flexible clamp (81). Re-install the clamp assembly.

(3) Remove the 2 bolts (82) and nuts (84) which attach the cover plate (85) to the brackets at the 5 o'clock location on the flanges G and E (detail A), with clamp (83) of J15 harness. Pull out the J13 harness from the flexible clamp (81). Re-install the clamp assembly.

(4) Remove the 2 bolts (129) which attach the cover plate (127) to the right leg of the bracket at the 5:30 o'clock location between flanges E and G (detail B). Remove the clamp assembly and remove the J13 harness from the flexible clamp (128). Re-install clamp assembly.

(5) Remove the 2 bolts (132) which attach the cover plate (133) to the right bracket of the TGB (detail C). Remove the cover plate and remove the J13 harness from the flexible clamp (130).

(6) Remove the 2 bolts (132) and washers (131) which attach the cover plate (133) to the right bracket on the TGB (detail C). Remove the cover plate and remove the J13 harness from the flexible clamp (130).

(7) Remove the 2 bolts (201) which attach the cover plate (204) to the rear right bracket of the TGB (detail D). Remove the cover plate and remove the J13 harness from the flexible clamp (203).

(8) Remove the 2 bolts (201) and washers (202) which attach the cover plate (204) to the rear right bracket of the TGB (detail D). Remove the cover plate and remove the J13 harness from the flexible clamp (203).

(9) Remove the bolt (212) and the nut (214) which attach the J13 harness to the rear bracket of the TGB (detail E).
(10) Remove the J13 harness from the 3 clips attached to 3 tube-bundle clamps at the 6 o'clock location (detail F).
(11) Remove the bolt (217) and the nut (215) which attach the J13 harness to the forward leg of the right TGB bracket (detail G).
(12) Remove the J13 harness from the clips on the brackets at the left side of the 6 o'clock location on flange G, and at the 6:30 o'clock, 7 o'clock and 7:30 o'clock locations on flange E (details H, I, J and K).
(13) Remove the bolt (218) and the nut (220) which attach the J13 harness to the bracket at the 8 o'clock location on flange D (detail L).
(14) Remove the 2 bolts (222) which attach the J13 harness to the support bracket of the fuel return valve (detail M).
(15) Remove the bolt (225) and the nut (223) which attach the J13 harness to the rear left TGB bracket (detail N).
(16) Remove the bolt (230) and the nut (228) which attach the J13 harness to the bracket attached to the fuel flowmeter (detail O).
(17) Remove J13 electrical harness.
(18) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(1) Disconnect the J13 electrical harness from the ECU, the oil temperature sensor, the fuel flowmeter and the CJ13 connector in the 6 o'clock junction box.

(2) Remove the 2 bolts (82) and nuts (84) which attach the cover plate (85) to the brackets at the 5 o'clock location on flanges G and E (detail A). Pull out the flexible clamp assembly from the brackets and pull out the J13 harness from the flexible clamp (81). Re-install the clamp assembly.

(3) Remove the 2 bolts (82) and nuts (84) which attach the cover plate (85) to the brackets at the 5 o'clock location on the flanges G and E (detail A), with clamp (83) of J15 harness. Pull out the J13 harness from the flexible clamp (81). Re-install the clamp assembly.

(4) Remove the 2 bolts (129) which attach the cover plate (127) to the right leg of the bracket at the 5:30 o'clock location between flanges E and G (detail B). Remove the clamp assembly and remove the J13 harness from the flexible clamp (128). Re-install clamp assembly.

(5) Remove the 2 bolts (132) which attach the cover plate (133) to the right bracket of the TGB (detail C). Remove the cover plate and remove the J13 harness from the flexible clamp (130).

(6) Remove the 2 bolts (132) and washers (131) which attach the cover plate (133) to the right bracket on the TGB (detail C). Remove the cover plate and remove the J13 harness from the flexible clamp (130).

(7) Remove the 2 bolts (201) which attach the cover plate (204) to the rear right bracket of the TGB (detail D). Remove the cover plate and remove the J13 harness from the flexible clamp (203).

(8) Remove the 2 bolts (201) and washers (202) which attach the cover plate (204) to the rear right bracket of the TGB (detail D). Remove the cover plate and remove the J13 harness from the flexible clamp (203).

(9) Remove the bolt (212) and the nut (214) which attach the J13 harness to the rear bracket of the TGB (detail E).
(10) Remove the J13 harness from the 3 clips attached to 3 tube-bundle clamps at the 6 o'clock location (detail F).
(11) Remove the bolt (217) and the nut (215) which attach the J13 harness to the forward leg of the right TGB bracket (detail G).
(12) Remove the J13 harness from the clips on the brackets at the left side of the 6 o'clock location on flange G, and at the 6:30 o'clock, 7 o'clock and 7:30 o'clock locations on flange E (details H, I, J and K).
(13) Remove the bolt (218) and the nut (220) which attach the J13 harness to the bracket at the 8 o'clock location on flange D (detail L).
(14) Remove the 2 bolts (222) which attach the J13 harness to the support bracket of the fuel return valve (detail M).
(15) Remove the bolt (225) and the nut (223) which attach the J13 harness to the rear left TGB bracket (detail N).
(16) Remove the bolt (230) and the nut (228) which attach the J13 harness to the bracket attached to the fuel flowmeter (detail O).
(17) Remove J13 electrical harness.
(18) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
