1. Reason for the Job
This harness is connected to the J13 harness (in the 6 o'clock junction box), the T495 main junction box, the T3 temperature sensor, the T5 temperature sensor and 2 High Pressure Turbine (HPT) case temperature sensors.

3. Job Set-up
Subtask 73-21-50-941-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
   (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
     (a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
   (2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
   (3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
     (a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
     (b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

B. Get Access
   (1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040):
     (a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

C. Make the thrust reverser unserviceable (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-481-041).

D. Open the thrust reverser doors (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-040):
   (1) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

4. Procedure

A. Removal of the CJ13 Harness
   (1) Disconnect the electrical harness from the T495 main junction box, the T3 temperature sensor, the T5 temperature sensor and the 2 HPT case temperature sensors.

   (2) Disconnect the J13 harness from the CJ13 harness receptacle in the 6 o'clock junction box. Remove the nut which attaches the receptacle (detail A). Remove O-ring (41).

   (3) Disconnect the J13 harness from the CJ13 harness receptacle in the 6 o'clock junction box. Remove the nut (40) which attaches the receptacle (detail A). Remove lockwasher (42). Remove O-ring (41).

   (4) Remove the bolts and nuts which attach the 4 harness clamps to the brackets between the main harness junction box and the T3 sensor connector (details F, H and S).

   (5) Remove the bolts (49) and nuts (51) which attach the harness clamps to the bracket (detail G).

   (6) Remove the bolts (49) which attach the harness clamps to the bracket (detail G).

   (7) Remove the bolts and nuts which attach the 4 harness clamps to the brackets between the main harness junction box and the T495 sensor connector and the Higth Pressure Turbine Active Clearance Control (HPTACC) sensor connector at the 9 o'clock location (details J, K, L and M).

   (8) Remove the bolts and nuts which attach the 3 harness clamps to the brackets between the main harness junction box and the T495 sensor connector at the 9 o'clock location (details J, L and M).

   (10) Keep the spacer (detail J), configuration 2.

   (13) Remove the bolts and nuts which attach the 4 harness clamps to the bracket between the main harness junction box and the T5 sensor connector and HPTCC connector at the 3 o'clock location (details N, T, P and Q). Keep the spacer (detail N).
   (14) Remove the bolt (80) which attaches the harness clamp to the bracket between the main harness junction box and the 6 o'clock junction box connector (detail R).
   (15) Remove the bolts which attach the 4 harness junction boxes to the brackets (details B, C, D and E).
   (16) Carefully remove the CJ13 harness.
   (17) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
   (18) Remove all the clamps from the harness.
