3. Job Set-up
Subtask 73-21-50-941-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
   (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
     (a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
   (2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
   (3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
     (a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
     (b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2). the VSV position

B. Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040):

C. Make the thrust reverser unserviceable (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-481-041).

   (1) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

4. Procedure
Subtask 73-21-50-020-093-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the CJ11R Harness
   (1) Remove the fan duct panels over the T25 sensor (Ref. AMM TASK 72-23-00-000-005).
   (2) Disconnect the CJ11R harness connector from the T25 temperature sensor.

   (3) Disconnect the electrical harness from the RACC valve position sensor, the HPTACC valve position sensor, LPTACC valve position sensor and the VSV position sensor.

   (4) Disconnect the electrical harness from the HPTACC valve position sensor, LPTACC valve position sensor and the VSV position sensor.

PRE SB 72-021

   (5) Disconnect the connector from the J11 harness connector in the 6 o'clock junction box. Remove the 2 bolts (27) and nuts (26) which attach CJ11R connector flange to the right side (aft looking forward) of 6 o'clock junction box (detail A).

POST SB 72-021

   (6) Disconnect the connector from the J11 harness connector in the 6 o'clock junction box. Remove the 2 bolts (27) which attach the CJ11R connector flange to the right side (aft looking forward) of the 6 o'clock junction box (detail A).

   (7) Remove the bolt (3) which attaches the CJ11R connector flange to fan frame center hub at the 5 o'clock (T25 sensor) location (detail B).
   (8) Remove the loop clamps that attach electrical harness. To do this, remove the bolts and nuts from the items which follow:
     (a) The air scoop forward the bracket at the 4 o'clock location on the fan frame center hub (detail C).
     (b) The brackets at the 3 o'clock location on the core engine (detail D).

     (c) The bracket at the 2 o'clock location on the core engine (details E and F).

   (9) Remove the nut (15) and bolt (14) which attach the CJ11R junction box to the brackets on air tube at the 2:30 o'clock location (detail G).
   (10) Remove the 2 bolts (17) and nuts (16) which attach the harness junction box to the bracket at the 3 o'clock location on the fan frame center hub (detail H).
   (11) Remove the harness.
   (12) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
   (13) Remove all the clamps from the harness.
