A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

A. Removal of the CJ11L Harness
(1) Disconnect the electrical harness from the VBV position sensor and from the BSV pressure switch and disconnect the J11 harness from the connector in the 6 o'clock junction box.
(2) Remove the nut (2) which attaches the CJ11L connector to the 6 o'clock junction box (view W). Remove O-ring (18).
(3) Remove the loop clamps that attach the electrical harnesses. To do this, remove the bolts from the items which follow:
(a) The clamp on the VBV gear motor (detail A)
(b) The bracket at the 8 o'clock location on the core engine (detail B)
(c) The bracket at the 7 o'clock location on the core engine (detail C).

(4) Remove the CJ11L harness.
(5) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(6) Remove all the clamps from the harness.
(1) Disconnect the electrical harness from the VBV position sensor and from the BSV pressure switch and disconnect the J11 harness from the connector in the 6 o'clock junction box.
(2) Remove the nut (2) which attaches the CJ11L connector to the 6 o'clock junction box (view W). Remove O-ring (18).
(3) Remove the loop clamps that attach the electrical harnesses. To do this, remove the bolts from the items which follow:
(a) The clamp on the VBV gear motor (detail A)
(b) The bracket at the 8 o'clock location on the core engine (detail B)
(c) The bracket at the 7 o'clock location on the core engine (detail C).
