|---|---|---|
| 1.All areas for: | | |
| A.Cracks | Not serviceable | Replace T25 sensor |
| B.Dirt build-up in air inlet | Air must circulate freely | Clean T25 sensor with bristle brush and isopropyl alcohol (Material No.CP1041) or acetone (Material No.CP1039) or ardrox 552 (Material No.CP2559) or turco ind 79 (Material No.CP2560) or mag-chem teksol (Material No.CP2566) or degreasol 99 R (Material No.CP2584) or mag-chem skysol (Material No.CP2656) or white spirit (Material No.CP2010) . |
| 2.Electrical connector threads for: | | |
| Damage | 30 percent damage in one lead-in thread or 20 percent damage on several threads | Chase threads if in limits, or replace T25 sensor (Ref. AMM TASK 73-21-20-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 73-21-20-400-002) |
| 3.Electrical connector pins for: | | |
| Bend Seizure Breakage | Must engage freely in related female contacts | Straighten bent pins. Replace T25 sensor if pins are broken, eroded or seized |
| 4.Electrical connector well for: | | |

B. Do an Electrical Test of the T25 Sensor
(1) Disconnect the CJ11R harness and CJ12R harness connectors from the T25 sensor connectors. If necessary, use PLIERS - CONNECTOR, JAW, SOFT.
(2) Measure the continuity resistance with an OHMMETER MULTIRANGE between pin 1 and pin 2 at the T25 sensor Channel A and Channel B receptacle.
(3) Measure the insulation resistance at Channel A and Channel B receptacle.
(a) Use a MEGOHMMETER 200 MOHMS - 500 VDC, 0.001 A MAX under 50 VDC.
(b) Set the megohmmeter to 0-100 Meghom range
(4) Replace T25 sensor if it is not within the limits.
(5) Connect the CJ11R harness (Channel A) and CJ12R harness (Channel B) connector to the T25 sensor connectors.
5. Close-up(1) Disconnect the CJ11R harness and CJ12R harness connectors from the T25 sensor connectors. If necessary, use PLIERS - CONNECTOR, JAW, SOFT.
(2) Measure the continuity resistance with an OHMMETER MULTIRANGE between pin 1 and pin 2 at the T25 sensor Channel A and Channel B receptacle.
| Receptacle | Pins | Continuity Resistance |
|---|---|---|
| Channel A | Pin 1 to pin 2 | Resistance 160 Ohm to 250 Ohm agrees with Channel B plus or minus 4 Ohm |
| Channel B | Pin 1 to pin 2 | Resistance 160 Ohm to 250 Ohm agrees with Channel A plus or minus 4 Ohm |
(a) Use a MEGOHMMETER 200 MOHMS - 500 VDC, 0.001 A MAX under 50 VDC.
(b) Set the megohmmeter to 0-100 Meghom range
| Receptacle | Pins | Insulation Resistance |
|---|---|---|
| Channel A | Pin 1 to connector body | Resistance higher than 10 Meghom |
| Channel B | Pin 1 to connector body | Resistance higher than 10 Meghom |
(5) Connect the CJ11R harness (Channel A) and CJ12R harness (Channel B) connector to the T25 sensor connectors.
