DO NOT TOUCH ANY OF THE ENGINE COMPONENTS OR TUBES FOR A SHORT TIME AFTER THE ENGINE IS SHUTDOWN. THE ENGINE COMPONENTS STAY HOT FOR SOME TIME AND CAN CAUSE INJURY.
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a warning notice is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position.
Subtask 73-11-47-010-061-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.

4. ProcedureSubtask 73-11-47-420-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the fuel tube (1)
(1) Install the tube assembly (1) to the four way connector (12) with the new packing (11) at position D.
(2) Install the bolt (18), the washer (22) and the nut (23) that attach the clips (19) and (21) to the lug on the tube at position C.
(3) TORQUE the nut on the tube (1) to between 475 and 425 lbf.in (5.37 and 4.80 m.daN )

(4) Safety the tube nut with the lockwire (Material No.V02-126) .
(5) TORQUE the nut (23) to between 44 and 36 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.41 m.daN )

Subtask 73-11-47-420-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the tube assembly (1) to the four way connector (12) with the new packing (11) at position D.
(2) Install the bolt (18), the washer (22) and the nut (23) that attach the clips (19) and (21) to the lug on the tube at position C.
(3) TORQUE the nut on the tube (1) to between 475 and 425 lbf.in (5.37 and 4.80 m.daN )
. (4) Safety the tube nut with the lockwire (Material No.V02-126) .
(5) TORQUE the nut (23) to between 44 and 36 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.41 m.daN )
. B. Installation of the adaptor (7) to the bifurcation panel (9)
(1) Install the adaptor (7) to the bifurcation panel (9) with the two bolts (6) and the two nuts (8) at position G.
(2) TORQUE the two nuts (8) to between 105 and 85 lbf.in (1.19 and 0.96 m.daN )

Subtask 73-11-47-420-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the adaptor (7) to the bifurcation panel (9) with the two bolts (6) and the two nuts (8) at position G.
(2) TORQUE the two nuts (8) to between 105 and 85 lbf.in (1.19 and 0.96 m.daN )
. C. Installation of the fuel tube (2)
(1) Install the tube assembly (2) to the outlet of the VSV actuator with the new packing (11) at position U.
(2) Install the tube assembly (2) to the adaptor (7) on the bifurcation panel (9) at position G.
(3) Install the spacer (27) at the position noted during removal (Ref. AMM TASK 73-11-47-000-012). Install the bolt (24), the washer (25), the spacer (27) and the nut (28) that attach the clip (26) to the lug on the tube at position A.
(4) Install the spacer (14) at the position noted during removal (Ref. AMM TASK 73-11-47-000-012). Install the bolt (13), the spacer (14), the washer (16) and the nut (17) that attach the clip (15) to the lug on the tube (1) at position B.
(5) Install the bolt (29), the washer (32) and the nut (33) that attach the clip (31) to the lug on the tube (2) at position E.
(6) Install the bolt (34), the washer (36) and the nut (37) that attach the clip (35) to the lug on the tube (2) at position F.
(7) Make sure the tube (2) is positioned correctly and TORQUE the tube nuts to between 360 and 330 lbf.in (4.07 and 3.73 m.daN )

(8) Safety the tube nuts with the lockwire (Material No.V02-126) .
(9) TORQUE the four nuts (17), (28), (33) and (37) to between 44 and 36 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.41 m.daN )

Subtask 73-11-47-420-057-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the tube assembly (2) to the outlet of the VSV actuator with the new packing (11) at position U.
(2) Install the tube assembly (2) to the adaptor (7) on the bifurcation panel (9) at position G.
(3) Install the spacer (27) at the position noted during removal (Ref. AMM TASK 73-11-47-000-012). Install the bolt (24), the washer (25), the spacer (27) and the nut (28) that attach the clip (26) to the lug on the tube at position A.
(4) Install the spacer (14) at the position noted during removal (Ref. AMM TASK 73-11-47-000-012). Install the bolt (13), the spacer (14), the washer (16) and the nut (17) that attach the clip (15) to the lug on the tube (1) at position B.
(5) Install the bolt (29), the washer (32) and the nut (33) that attach the clip (31) to the lug on the tube (2) at position E.
(6) Install the bolt (34), the washer (36) and the nut (37) that attach the clip (35) to the lug on the tube (2) at position F.
(7) Make sure the tube (2) is positioned correctly and TORQUE the tube nuts to between 360 and 330 lbf.in (4.07 and 3.73 m.daN )
. (8) Safety the tube nuts with the lockwire (Material No.V02-126) .
(9) TORQUE the four nuts (17), (28), (33) and (37) to between 44 and 36 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.41 m.daN )
. D. Installation of the fuel tube (3)
(1) Install the tube assembly (3) to the adaptor (7) on the bifurcation panel (9) at position G.
(2) Install the Pressure Raising Valve (PRV) (10) to the tube assembly (3) at position M.
(3) Install the bolt (38), the washer (39) and the nut (41) that attach the clip (40) to the lug on the tube (3) at position H.
(4) Install the bolt (42), the two washers (43) and (46) and the nut (47) that attach the clips (44) and (45) to the lug on the tube at position J.
(5) Install the spacer (51) at the position noted during removal (Ref. AMM TASK 73-11-47-000-012). Install the bolt (48), the washer (49), the spacer (51), the washer (53) and the nut (54) that attach the clips (50) and (52) to the lug on the tube at position K.

(3) Install the bolt (63), the washer (64) and the nut (66) that attach the clip (65) to the lug on the tube (4) at position N.
(4) Install the bolt (67), the two washers (68) and (71) and the nut (72) that attach the clips (69) and (70) to the lug on the tube at position P.
