TASK 73-11-41-000-010-B
Removal of the Fuel Nozzle Supply Manifold

WARNING: BE CAREFUL NOT TO GET AIRCRAFT FUEL IN YOUR MOUTH OR IN YOUR EYES. IF YOU GET FUEL ON YOUR SKIN OR ON YOUR CLOTHES, FLUSH IT IMMEDIATELY WITH WATER. IF NECESSARY, GET MEDICAL HELP. AIRCRAFT FUEL IS POISONOUS.
WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE PARTS AFTER THE ENGINE SHUTDOWN. USE APPLICABLE THERMAL GLOVES. THE ENGINE PARTS CAN STAY HOT FOR ONE HOUR AFTER SHUTDOWN AND CAN BURN YOU.
CAUTION: DO NOT LET ENGINE FUEL OR OIL FALL ON THE ENGINE. UNWANTED FUEL OR OIL MUST BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY WITH A CLEAN LINT FREE CLOTH. THE FUEL OR OIL CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE PROTECTION AND TO SOME PARTS.

A. Safety Precautions
   (1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
     (a) Make sure that the "ENG/MASTER 1(2)" control switch is set to the "OFF" position.
     (b) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
   (2) Do the Electronic Instrument System (EIS) start procedure (upper ECAM Display Unit (DU) and lower ECAM DU only) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (3) Make sure that, on the ENG fuel page, the LP valve is shown closed.
   (4) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
   (5) On overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
     (a) Make sure that the "ON" legend of the "ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2)" pushbutton switch is off.
     (b) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the Full Authority Digital Engine Control (FADEC) 1(2).
