WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE PARTS AFTER THE ENGINE SHUTDOWN. USE APPLICABLE THERMAL GLOVES. THE ENGINE PARTS CAN STAY HOT FOR ONE HOUR AFTER SHUTDOWN AND CAN BURN YOU.

   (1) Remove the FMU fuel strainer from the FMU (Ref. AMM TASK 73-11-15-000-801).
   (2) Do an inspection of the FMU Fuel Strainer (Ref. AMM TASK 73-11-15-200-801).
4. Procedure
Subtask 73-11-15-110-050-A
A. Cleaning of the Fuel Metering Unit (FMU) Fuel Strainer
   (1) Clean the FMU fuel strainer in stoddard solvent (Material No.CP2011) or isopropyl alcohol (Material No.CP1041) with a PAINTBRUSH.
   (2) Let the FMU fuel strainer dry fully.

A. Install the FMU fuel strainer in the FMU (Ref. AMM TASK 73-11-15-400-801).
