BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE PARTS AFTER THE ENGINE SHUTDOWN. USE APPLICABLE THERMAL GLOVES. THE ENGINE PARTS CAN STAY HOT FOR ONE HOUR AFTER SHUTDOWN AND CAN BURN YOU.

A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.
(b) Make sure that the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch was in the OFF position not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
(c) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 73-11-10-010-082-A (1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.

B. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-803):

(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position.
4. Procedure(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-803):
(a) FOR [4020KM1] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENGINE 1)

(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position.
WARNING:
WHEN YOU USE ENGINE FUEL, USE PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT AND DO IT IN A WELL-VENTILATED AREA. ENGINE FUEL IS TOXIC.
WARNING:
DO NOT GET FUEL IN YOUR MOUTH, EYES OR ON YOUR SKIN. DO NOT BREATHE THE FUMES FROM THE FUEL. KEEP THE FUEL AWAY FROM SPARKS, FLAME AND HEAT. FUEL IS POISONOUS AND FLAMMABLE, WHICH CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
Subtask 73-11-10-020-077-A A. Removal of the Main Fuel Filter Housing
(2) Remove the fuel filter cartridge (Ref. AMM TASK 73-11-10-000-802).
(3) Disconnection of the fuel tube (3) from the main fuel filter housing (1):
(a) Remove the four bolts (4) from the fuel tube (3).
(b) Disconnect the fuel tube (3) from the main fuel filter housing (1).
(c) Remove and discard the gasket (5) of the fuel tube (3).
(4) Disconnection of the fuel tube (6) from the main fuel filter housing (1):
(a) Remove the four bolts (7) from the fuel tube (6).
(b) Disconnect the fuel tube (6) from the main fuel filter housing (1).
(c) Remove and discard the gasket (8) of the fuel tube (6).
(5) Disconnection of the fuel tube (9) from the main fuel filter housing (1):
(a) Remove the four bolts (10) from the fuel tube (9).
(b) Disconnect the fuel tube (9) from the main fuel filter housing (1).
(c) Remove and discard the gasket (11) of the fuel tube (9).
(6) Remove the four bolts (12) and the four washers (13) that attach the main fuel filter housing (1) to the two mounting brackets (14).
(7) Install the COVER - PROTECTION and CAP - PROTECTION on all the open ports, tubes, hoses and disconnected connectors.
(8) In the instance of shipping or prolonged storage, preserve the main fuel filter housing (1) per theCMM 731110 .
NOTE: Make sure that the container is present to avoid fuel leakage on the floor.
(1) Remove the fuel filter differential pressure sensor (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 73-34-05-000-801). (2) Remove the fuel filter cartridge (Ref. AMM TASK 73-11-10-000-802).
(3) Disconnection of the fuel tube (3) from the main fuel filter housing (1):
(a) Remove the four bolts (4) from the fuel tube (3).
(b) Disconnect the fuel tube (3) from the main fuel filter housing (1).
(c) Remove and discard the gasket (5) of the fuel tube (3).
(4) Disconnection of the fuel tube (6) from the main fuel filter housing (1):
(a) Remove the four bolts (7) from the fuel tube (6).
(b) Disconnect the fuel tube (6) from the main fuel filter housing (1).
(c) Remove and discard the gasket (8) of the fuel tube (6).
(5) Disconnection of the fuel tube (9) from the main fuel filter housing (1):
(a) Remove the four bolts (10) from the fuel tube (9).
(b) Disconnect the fuel tube (9) from the main fuel filter housing (1).
(c) Remove and discard the gasket (11) of the fuel tube (9).
(6) Remove the four bolts (12) and the four washers (13) that attach the main fuel filter housing (1) to the two mounting brackets (14).
(7) Install the COVER - PROTECTION and CAP - PROTECTION on all the open ports, tubes, hoses and disconnected connectors.
(8) In the instance of shipping or prolonged storage, preserve the main fuel filter housing (1) per the
