(1) Remove the bolt (16), the washer (17) and clip nut (18) to disconnect the bracket (5) from clipping point 1116 at view D. Remove the bolt (19), the washer (20) and the clip nut (21) to disconnect the bracket (5) from the clipping point 1117 at view E. Remove the three bolts (4) and the washers (6) that attach the oil tank breather tube (3) to the deoiler casing (1). Remove the bracket (5).

(2) Remove the bolts (22) and the nuts (23) to disconnect the bracket (5) from clipping points 1400 and 1401 at view F. Remove the three bolts (4) and the washers (6) that attach the oil tank breather tube (3) to the deoiler casing (1). Remove the bracket (5).

(3) Loosen clipping points 1110, 1109 and 1105 and remove the bolt (13), the washer (14) and the nut (15) to disconnect the harness at clipping point 1106 at view C.

(5) Remove the three bolts (8) and the washers (9) that attach the oil tank breather tube (3) to the oil tank (2) and remove the bolt (24) and clip nut (25) to disconnect the bracket (10) at clipping point 0787 at view G. Remove the bracket (10).
(6) Disengage the oil tank breather tube (3) from the tank pressurization valve (12).
(7) Discard the packing (11).
(9) Remove the preformed packing (7).

(2) Install three jacking screws into the inserts of the housing flange. Operate the disassembly screws to disconnect the deoiler housing. Remove the jacking screws.
(3) Remove the deoiler housing (2) and the deoiler gear and impeller assembly (4) from the gearbox casing (3). Remove and discard the packing (5).

Removal of the Deoiler Gear and Impeller Assembly
WARNING:
DO NOT LET ENGINE OIL STAY ON YOUR SKIN FOR A LONG TIME. FLUSH THE OIL FROM YOUR SKIN WITH WATER. THE OIL IS POISONOUS AND CAN GO THROUGH YOUR SKIN AND INTO YOUR BODY.
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE PARTS AFTER THE ENGINE SHUTDOWN. USE APPLICABLE THERMAL GLOVES. THE ENGINE PARTS CAN STAY HOT FOR ONE HOUR AFTER SHUTDOWN AND CAN BURN YOU.
CAUTION:
DO NOT LET ENGINE FUEL OR OIL FALL ON THE ENGINE. UNWANTED FUEL OR OIL MUST BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY WITH A CLEAN LINT FREE CLOTH. THE FUEL OR OIL CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE PROTECTION AND TO SOME PARTS.

A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

D. Put the Clean CONTAINER 40 L (10 USGAL) below the Deoiler

DO NOT REMOVE BOLTS, WASHERS, NUTS OR CLIPPING POINTS COMPLETELY IF NOT OTHERWISE STATED. THE INTENTION OF LOOSEN CLIPPING POINTS IS TO DISENGAGE THE NO.1, 2 AND 3 BEARING COMPARTMENT VENT TUBE TO MAKE IT MOVABLE.
CAUTION:
DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE TUBE. DO NOT USE ANY TOOLS AS A LEVER TO MOVE THE TUBE. YOU CAN USE PENETRATING OIL AT THE SUBJECT CLIPPING POINTS TO EASE MOVEMENT OF THE TUBE.
E. Disengage the Oil Tank Breather Tube from the Deoiler Casing PRE SBE 79-0069
(1) Remove the bolt (16), the washer (17) and clip nut (18) to disconnect the bracket (5) from clipping point 1116 at view D. Remove the bolt (19), the washer (20) and the clip nut (21) to disconnect the bracket (5) from the clipping point 1117 at view E. Remove the three bolts (4) and the washers (6) that attach the oil tank breather tube (3) to the deoiler casing (1). Remove the bracket (5).

(2) Remove the bolts (22) and the nuts (23) to disconnect the bracket (5) from clipping points 1400 and 1401 at view F. Remove the three bolts (4) and the washers (6) that attach the oil tank breather tube (3) to the deoiler casing (1). Remove the bracket (5).

(3) Loosen clipping points 1110, 1109 and 1105 and remove the bolt (13), the washer (14) and the nut (15) to disconnect the harness at clipping point 1106 at view C.

(5) Remove the three bolts (8) and the washers (9) that attach the oil tank breather tube (3) to the oil tank (2) and remove the bolt (24) and clip nut (25) to disconnect the bracket (10) at clipping point 0787 at view G. Remove the bracket (10).
(6) Disengage the oil tank breather tube (3) from the tank pressurization valve (12).
(7) Discard the packing (11).
NOTE: Make sure clips are loosened as necessary such that the tube can be pulled sufficiently to disengage the spigot of the deoiler casing.
(8) Carefully pull the oil tank breather tube (3) away from the deoiler casing (1) to disengage the tube from the casing. (9) Remove the preformed packing (7).
F. Disengage the No.1, 2 and 3 bearing Compartment Vent Tube from the Deoiler Casing
(1) Remove the three bolts (1) which attach the tube (3) to the deoiler casing (5).
(2) Remove the bolt (8), the spacers (10), the washer (9) and the clipnut (12) from clipping point 0200 at view D.
(3) Remove the bolt (13) and the clipnut (15) from clipping point 0556 at view E.
(4) Remove the bracket (14).
(5) Remove locking wire from the tube coupling (6) at view A.
(6) Disconnect the tube (3) from the tube (7) with the IAE1R18003 WRENCH.
(7) Remove the bolt (16), the washer (17) and the nut (18) from clipping point 0594 at view F.
(8) Loosen clipping points 1092, 1012, 1011 and 1010.
(10) Discard the packing (4).

(4) Remove the bracket (14).
(5) Remove locking wire from the tube coupling (6) at view A.
(6) Disconnect the tube (3) from the tube (7) with the IAE1R18003 WRENCH.
(7) Remove the bolt (16), the washer (17) and the nut (18) from clipping point 0594 at view F.
(8) Loosen clipping points 1092, 1012, 1011 and 1010.
NOTE: Make sure clips are loosened as necessary such that the tube can be pulled sufficiently to disengage the spigot of the deoiler casing.
(9) Carefully move the tube (3) away from the deoiler casing (5) to disengage it. (10) Discard the packing (4).
CAUTION:
IF THE BEARING CAGE IS FRACTURED THE REAR DEOILER BEARING ROLLERS AND CAGE FRAGMENTS CAN FALL INTO THE GEARBOX CASING.
K. Remove the Deoiler Casing PRE SBE 79-0088
(1) Remove the seven nuts (1) and the five washers (2) which attach the deoiler casing (3) to the gearbox casing (4). Remove the bracket (5).

L. Remove the Deoiler Gear and Impeller Assembly (1) Remove the two screws (1) which attach the deoiler housing (2) to the gearbox casing (3).
(2) Install three jacking screws into the inserts of the housing flange. Operate the disassembly screws to disconnect the deoiler housing. Remove the jacking screws.
(3) Remove the deoiler housing (2) and the deoiler gear and impeller assembly (4) from the gearbox casing (3). Remove and discard the packing (5).

M. Remove the Container from below the Engine
(1) Remove the container.
(2) Discard the drained oil.

N. Disassemble the Deoiler Gear and Impeller Assembly
(1) Remove the lock washer (1) and the segment (2) from the nut washer (3).
(a) Install the deoiler gear drive (5) and impeller (4) on IAE1F10211 BASE-REMOVAL INSTALLATION with the impeller (4) to the top. Attach the gear teeth to the base with the clamp.
(b) Install IAE1F10220 PULLER-REMOVAL on the lock washer (1). Open the levers of the puller. Put the adapter into the ID of the gearshaft. Turn the pusher clockwise to engage the levers with the tabs of the lock washer.
(c) Turn the lead screw of the puller clockwise until the lock washer (1) is fully removed from the nut washer (3).
(d) Remove the puller with the lock washer (1) from the gearshaft. Open the levers and remove the lock washer (1) from the puller.
(e) Remove the segment (2) from the lock washer (1).
(2) Remove the nut washer (3) from the deoiler gear drive (5).
(a) Align the lugs of IAE1F10210 WRENCH-REMOVAL INSTALLATION with the slots of the nut washer (3). Install the wrench on the nut washer (3).
(b) Turn the wrench counter clockwise until the nut washer (3) is fully removed from the gearshaft. Use standard wrench.
(c) Remove the wrench. Remove the nut washer (3) from the gearshaft.
(3) Remove the impeller (4) from the deoiler gear drive (5).
(b) Remove the sliding sleeve from the half rings.
(c) Loosen the shoulder screw and open the half rings.
(d) Put the adapter in to the ID of the deoiler gear (5).
(e) Close the half rings. Make sure that the jaws of the half rings are correctly engaged in to the groove of the impeller flange.
(f) Install the sliding sleeve around the half rings.
(g) Tighten the shoulder screw.
(h) Turn the lead screw of the puller clockwise until the impeller (4) is fully removed from the gearshaft.
(i) Remove the puller with the impeller (4) from the gearshaft.
(j) Remove the puller from the impeller (4).
(k) Remove the sliding sleeve from the half rings.
(l) Loosen the shoulder screw. Open the half rings and remove the puller from the impeller (4).
(m) Release the clamp of the base. Remove the deoiler gear drive (5) from the base.
(4) Remove the deoiler gear drive (5) from the deoiler housing (6).
(a) Remove the nuts which attach the ball bearing (7) to the deoiler housing (6).
(b) Install IAE1F10195 BASE-INSTALLATION on VISE - SWIVEL.
(c) Install the deoiler housing (6) with the deoiler gear (5) on the base with the gear teeth to the bottom. Attach with the socket head capscrews.
(d) Turn the base until the gear teeth is to the top. Remove the nuts which attach the ball bearing (7) to the deoiler housing (6).
(e) Remove the deoiler housing (6) with the deoiler gear (5) from the base.
(f) Put IAE1F10254 RING-REMOVAL around the deoiler gear (5) and below the ball bearing (7) on the deoiler housing (6).
(g) Install the half rings and the deoiler gear (5) on IAE1F10200 BASE-REMOVAL INSTALLATION with the gear teeth to the bottom.
(h) Install IAE1F10253 DRIFT-REMOVAL in to the ID of the deoiler gear (5). Push the drift until the deoiler gear (5) is fully removed from the ball bearing (7) on the deoiler housing (6). Use ARBOR PRESS or equivalent.
(i) Remove the drift. Remove the half rings, the deoiler housing (6) and the deoiler gear (5) from the base.
(5) Remove the ball bearing (7) from the deoiler housing (6).
(a) Install the deoiler housing (6) on IAE1F10256 BASE-REMOVAL with the ball bearing to the top.
(b) Remove the ball bearing (7) from the deoiler housing (6). Use a IAE1F10255 PULLER-REMOVAL.
(c) Remove the deoiler housing (6) from the base.
(6) Remove the inner race of the roller bearing from the deoiler gear (5).
(a) Put IAE1F10243 RING-REMOVAL around and below the inner race (8) of the roller bearing.
(b) Install the half rings and the deoiler gear (5) on IAE1F10200 BASE-REMOVAL INSTALLATION with the inner race (8) of the roller bearing to the top.
(c) Install IAE1F10238 DRIFT-REMOVAL in to the ID of the deoiler gear (5). Push the drift until the deoiler gear (5) is fully removed from the inner race (8) of the roller bearing. Use ARBOR PRESS or equivalent.
(d) Remove the drift. Remove the half rings and the deoiler gear (5) from the base.
5. Close-up(1) Remove the lock washer (1) and the segment (2) from the nut washer (3).
(a) Install the deoiler gear drive (5) and impeller (4) on IAE1F10211 BASE-REMOVAL INSTALLATION with the impeller (4) to the top. Attach the gear teeth to the base with the clamp.
(b) Install IAE1F10220 PULLER-REMOVAL on the lock washer (1). Open the levers of the puller. Put the adapter into the ID of the gearshaft. Turn the pusher clockwise to engage the levers with the tabs of the lock washer.
(c) Turn the lead screw of the puller clockwise until the lock washer (1) is fully removed from the nut washer (3).
(d) Remove the puller with the lock washer (1) from the gearshaft. Open the levers and remove the lock washer (1) from the puller.
(e) Remove the segment (2) from the lock washer (1).
(2) Remove the nut washer (3) from the deoiler gear drive (5).
(a) Align the lugs of IAE1F10210 WRENCH-REMOVAL INSTALLATION with the slots of the nut washer (3). Install the wrench on the nut washer (3).
(b) Turn the wrench counter clockwise until the nut washer (3) is fully removed from the gearshaft. Use standard wrench.
(c) Remove the wrench. Remove the nut washer (3) from the gearshaft.
(3) Remove the impeller (4) from the deoiler gear drive (5).
CAUTION:
DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE FIN OF THE SEAL DURING THE REMOVAL OF THE IMPELLER.
(a) Install IAE1F10252 PULLER-REMOVAL on the flange of the impeller (4). (b) Remove the sliding sleeve from the half rings.
(c) Loosen the shoulder screw and open the half rings.
(d) Put the adapter in to the ID of the deoiler gear (5).
(e) Close the half rings. Make sure that the jaws of the half rings are correctly engaged in to the groove of the impeller flange.
(f) Install the sliding sleeve around the half rings.
(g) Tighten the shoulder screw.
(h) Turn the lead screw of the puller clockwise until the impeller (4) is fully removed from the gearshaft.
(i) Remove the puller with the impeller (4) from the gearshaft.
(j) Remove the puller from the impeller (4).
(k) Remove the sliding sleeve from the half rings.
(l) Loosen the shoulder screw. Open the half rings and remove the puller from the impeller (4).
(m) Release the clamp of the base. Remove the deoiler gear drive (5) from the base.
(4) Remove the deoiler gear drive (5) from the deoiler housing (6).
(a) Remove the nuts which attach the ball bearing (7) to the deoiler housing (6).
(b) Install IAE1F10195 BASE-INSTALLATION on VISE - SWIVEL.
(c) Install the deoiler housing (6) with the deoiler gear (5) on the base with the gear teeth to the bottom. Attach with the socket head capscrews.
(d) Turn the base until the gear teeth is to the top. Remove the nuts which attach the ball bearing (7) to the deoiler housing (6).
(e) Remove the deoiler housing (6) with the deoiler gear (5) from the base.
(f) Put IAE1F10254 RING-REMOVAL around the deoiler gear (5) and below the ball bearing (7) on the deoiler housing (6).
(g) Install the half rings and the deoiler gear (5) on IAE1F10200 BASE-REMOVAL INSTALLATION with the gear teeth to the bottom.
(h) Install IAE1F10253 DRIFT-REMOVAL in to the ID of the deoiler gear (5). Push the drift until the deoiler gear (5) is fully removed from the ball bearing (7) on the deoiler housing (6). Use ARBOR PRESS or equivalent.
(i) Remove the drift. Remove the half rings, the deoiler housing (6) and the deoiler gear (5) from the base.
(5) Remove the ball bearing (7) from the deoiler housing (6).
(a) Install the deoiler housing (6) on IAE1F10256 BASE-REMOVAL with the ball bearing to the top.
(b) Remove the ball bearing (7) from the deoiler housing (6). Use a IAE1F10255 PULLER-REMOVAL.
(c) Remove the deoiler housing (6) from the base.
(6) Remove the inner race of the roller bearing from the deoiler gear (5).
(a) Put IAE1F10243 RING-REMOVAL around and below the inner race (8) of the roller bearing.
(b) Install the half rings and the deoiler gear (5) on IAE1F10200 BASE-REMOVAL INSTALLATION with the inner race (8) of the roller bearing to the top.
(c) Install IAE1F10238 DRIFT-REMOVAL in to the ID of the deoiler gear (5). Push the drift until the deoiler gear (5) is fully removed from the inner race (8) of the roller bearing. Use ARBOR PRESS or equivalent.
(d) Remove the drift. Remove the half rings and the deoiler gear (5) from the base.
