Subtask 72-32-00-860-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position.

B. Get Access

A. Install the IGV and stage 3 lever arms.
(2) Install the replacement lever arms on the vane while you engage the lever arm pin into the actuation ring.
(3) Make sure the lever arm fully engages the vane stem flats.
(4) Install the washer and nut on the vane stem. Hold the lever arm with 856A1012 LEVER,COUNTERTORQUE-CPRSR STATOR VANE ACTUATION ARM (856A1012G01), while you tighten the nut.
(5) TORQUE the nut to between 70 and 55 lbf.in (0.79 and 0.62 m.daN )
. Do not let the vane turn.
Subtask 72-32-00-210-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL CAUTION:
CORRECTLY ALIGN THE WITNESS MARK ON THE VANE STEM WITH THE LEVER ARM. BLADE DAMAGE CAN OCCUR IF THE VANE STEM IS NOT CORRECTLY ALIGNED.
(1) Install the replacement bushing in the stator case. (2) Install the replacement lever arms on the vane while you engage the lever arm pin into the actuation ring.
(3) Make sure the lever arm fully engages the vane stem flats.
(4) Install the washer and nut on the vane stem. Hold the lever arm with 856A1012 LEVER,COUNTERTORQUE-CPRSR STATOR VANE ACTUATION ARM (856A1012G01), while you tighten the nut.
(5) TORQUE the nut to between 70 and 55 lbf.in (0.79 and 0.62 m.daN )
. Do not let the vane turn. B. Do a visual check.
(1) The lever arm must fully engage the vane stem flats.
(2) A minimum of 2 vane stem threads must be above the nut.
5. Close-up(1) The lever arm must fully engage the vane stem flats.
(2) A minimum of 2 vane stem threads must be above the nut.

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
