WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE PARTS AFTER THE ENGINE SHUTDOWN. USE APPLICABLE THERMAL GLOVES. THE ENGINE PARTS CAN STAY HOT FOR ONE HOUR AFTER SHUTDOWN AND CAN BURN YOU.

A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.
(b) Make sure that the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch was in the OFF position not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
(c) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 72-24-00-020-050-A (1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:

B. Removal of Component
(1) Remove the power plant (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-51-000-803).
(2) Remove the forward engine mount from the engine (Ref. AMM TASK 71-21-11-000-802).

(2) Remove the forward engine mount from the engine (Ref. AMM TASK 71-21-11-000-802).

A. Detailed Visual Inspection of the Forward Engine Mount Lugs and the Monoball Socket
(2) Clean any dirt or unwanted material from the forward engine mount with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Do a detailed visual inspection of the forward engine mount lugs (2) and the monoball socket (3). Refer to the table below for the inspection criteria.
5. Close-upNOTE: You can use an MIRROR - INSPECTION and FLASHLIGHT - HIGHPOWER.
(1) Get access to the nozzle 12 o'clock area (engine junction area). (2) Clean any dirt or unwanted material from the forward engine mount with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Do a detailed visual inspection of the forward engine mount lugs (2) and the monoball socket (3). Refer to the table below for the inspection criteria.

A. Close Access
(1) Install the forward engine mount to the engine (Ref. AMM TASK 71-21-11-400-802).
(2) Install the power plant (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-51-400-803).
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
