Replacement of the Fan Hub Clinch Nut

CAUTION:
WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
Subtask 72-11-06-960-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL A. Replacement of the Fan-Hub Clinch Nut
(1) Remove the inlet cone (Ref. AMM TASK 72-11-01-000-801).
(4) Install the new EIPC 72-11-00-01-050 CLINCH NUT (2) in the correct location as follows:
(a) Attach the EIPC 72-11-00-01-050 CLINCH NUT (2) with the PWA105276 FLARING TOOL, MECHANICAL.
(5) Install the inlet cone (Ref. AMM TASK 72-11-01-400-801).
(6) Examine the assembly for foreign objects, damage and correct assembly.
5. Close-up(1) Remove the inlet cone (Ref. AMM TASK 72-11-01-000-801).
CAUTION:
WHEN YOU MACHINE THE CLINCH NUT, BE CAREFUL NOT TO MAKE THE DIAMETER OF THE FAN HUB HOLE LARGER. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, DAMAGE TO THE FAN HUB CAN OCCUR.
CAUTION:
ONLY USE AN ALUMINUM, BRASS OR COMPOSITE DRIFT TO REMOVE THE REMAINING MATERIAL OF THE CLINCH NUT. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE FAN HUB.
(2) NOTE: It is recommended to use an aluminum, brass or composite drift.
(3) Visually inspect the EIPC 72-11-00-01-050 CLINCH NUT (2) hole for nicks, dents and scratches. No damage is permitted in the holes. (4) Install the new EIPC 72-11-00-01-050 CLINCH NUT (2) in the correct location as follows:
(a) Attach the EIPC 72-11-00-01-050 CLINCH NUT (2) with the PWA105276 FLARING TOOL, MECHANICAL.
NOTE: The maximum permitted distance (1) between the EIPC 72-11-00-01-050 CLINCH NUT (2) and the hub is 0.010 in. (0.254 mm).
(b) Make sure the EIPC 72-11-00-01-050 CLINCH NUT (2) is tight against the hub with the 0.010 in. (0.254 mm) FEELER - STOCK. (5) Install the inlet cone (Ref. AMM TASK 72-11-01-400-801).
(6) Examine the assembly for foreign objects, damage and correct assembly.

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
