     (a) If the drain tubes are loose, examine these items for damage, wear and loss of torque:
1 The attachment nuts and bolts.
       2 The attachment clips.
       3 The lockwire.
       4 The tube connection nuts.
     (b) If (some of) the above items have damage or wear, reject it (them).

     (b) Examine the tubes for dents.
1 If the tube(s) has(have) dents do the following:
a Dents with smooth contours which do not decrease the diameter of the tube more than 10 percent, accept the damage.
b Dents with sharp contours or which decrease the diameter of the tube more than 10 percent, reject the tube.
c Dents which are more than 1 in. (25.40 mm) apart and up to 0.05 in. (1.27 mm) deep with the radius of the dent not less than 0.056 in. (1.42 mm), accept the tube.
d Dents which are less than 1 in. (25.40 mm) apart and more than 0.05 in. (1.27 mm) deep or the radius of the dent less than 0.056 in. (1.42 mm), reject the tube.
