A. Safety Precautions
(1) Do the procedure to prevent engine motoring and to stop the electrical supply to the Electronic Engine Control (EEC)
(Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-832).

B. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-802):
(a) FOR [4020KM1] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 1)

(b) FOR [4020KM2] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 2)

(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
(3) Remove the aft bulkhead T2 panel (Ref. AMM TASK 71-61-11-000-801).

4. Procedure
Subtask 71-61-51-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal of the Inlet Cowl T2-Probe Harness
(1) Remove the inlet cowl T2-probe harness (3).
(a) Disconnect the T2 jumper harness from the inlet cowl T2-probe harness (3) (D1001P) (Ref. AMM TASK 71-61-11-000-801).
(b) Disconnect the inlet cowl T2-probe harness (3) (D1000P) from the T2-probe (Ref. AMM TASK 71-61-12-000-801).
(c) Remove the four bolts (1) and the four washers (2) that attach the inlet cowl T2-probe harness (3) to the T2 disconnect panel.
(d) Remove the bolt (4) and washer (5) that attach the clamp (6) and the inlet cowl T2-probe harness (3) to the T2 harness bracket.
(e) Remove the inlet cowl T2-probe harness (3).
(f) Remove the clamp (6) from the inlet cowl T2-probe harness (3).
(g) Installation of the protection covers

CAUTION: INSTALL PROTECTION COVERS ON ALL THE OPENINGS IMMEDIATELY TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.

1 Make sure that you install COVER - PROTECTION as necessary to prevent damage to the engine.
