A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is OFF. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

B. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the fan cowls are open (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-010):
(a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

(2) Make sure that the thrust reverser doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-00-010-010):

(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position.

C. Make sure that the thrust reverser Hydraulic Control Unit(HCU) is deactivated. (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-012).

D. Remove the applicable CAP - BLANKING, COVER - BLANKING and PLUG - BLANKING from the electrical connectors and the electrical receptacles.

4. Procedure

A. Installation of the Voltage Divider Harness Assembly

Voltage Divider Harness Assembly ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Install the trim balance sensor lead 4000VS-7 of the core harness and the terminal lug (B1) of the voltage divider harness assembly on the stud (15) of the terminal block (1).
(2) Install the nut (8) and the washer (10) that attaches the terminal lug (B1) of the voltage divider harness assembly and the trim balance sensor lead 4000VS-7 of the core harness to the stud (15) of the terminal block (1).
(3) TORQUE the nut (8) to between 14 and 10 lbf.in (0.16 and 0.11 m.daN )

(4) Install the terminal lug (A1) of the voltage divider harness assembly on the stud (14) of the terminal block (1).
(5) Install the nut (11) and the washer (12) that attaches the terminal lug (A1) of the voltage divider harness assembly on the stud (14) of the terminal block (1).
(6) TORQUE the nut (11) to between 14 and 10 lbf.in (0.16 and 0.11 m.daN )

(7) Loosely install the bolt (3) and the spacer (2) that attaches the bracket (4) to the terminal block (1) at the clip point CP6151.
(8) Install the voltage divider harness assembly into the clip (17) at the clip point CP5732.
(a) Install the bolt (16), the two spacers (18) and (20) that attach the clips (17) and (19) and the grounding terminal lug (C) of the voltage divider harness assembly to the bracket (21) at the clip point CP5732.
(b) TORQUE the bolt (16) to between 44 and 36 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.41 m.daN )

(9) Install the bolt assembly (9) into the clip (7) at the clip point CP6150.
(a) Install the bolt (5) and the nut (6) that attach the grounding terminal lug (E) of the voltage divider harness assembly and the clip (7) to the bracket (4) at the clip point CP6150.
(b) TORQUE the nut (6) to between 44 and 36 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.41 m.daN )

(10) Install the terminal lug (D) of the voltage divider harness assembly and the trim balance sensor lead 4000VS-8 of the fan speed/trim balance probes harness and the nut (13) on the bolt assembly (9).
(a) TORQUE the nut (13) to between 14 and 10 lbf.in (0.16 and 0.11 m.daN )

(11) TORQUE the bolt (3) to between 105 and 85 lbf.in (1.19 and 0.96 m.daN )

5. Close-up

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the thrust reverser halves (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-00-410-010):
