Subtask 71-52-43-860-070-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 71-52-43-865-080-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.

C. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040):

(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.

(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
E. Open the thrust reverser doors (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-040):

Subtask 71-52-43-020-063-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Environmental Control System (ECS) Harness Assembly
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector 450VC-A from the core junction box.
(2) Remove the two bolts (5) and open the two clamps (10) that attach the harnesses to the pylon. Remove the harness from the clamps. Install the bolt (5) and tighten it with your hand.
(3) Remove the screws (15) and washer (20) and open the clamp (25) at the top of the engine at station 233. Remove harness from the clamp. Install the screw (15) and washer (20). Tighten the screw with your hand.
(4) Remove the screws (15), washers (20) and nuts (30) that attach the clamps (35), (two locations). Remove the clamps (35) from the harness. Install the screws, washers and nuts on the other clamp (35). Tighten the screw with your hand.
(5) Remove the screw (15), washer (20) and nut (30) that attach the clamp (35). Remove the clamp (35) from the harness. Install the screws, washers and nuts on the other clamp (40). Tighten the screw with your hand.
(6) Remove the screw (15), washer (20) and nut (30) that attach the clamp (35). Remove the clamp (35) from the harness. Install the screws, washers and nuts on the other clamp (35) at station 221. Tighten the screw with your hand.
(7) Remove the screw (45), washer (20) and nut (30) that attach the clamp (40) to the bracket on the aft side of station 215. Remove the clamp (40) from the harness.
(8) Remove the screw (45), washer (20) and nut (30) that attach the clamp (50) to the bracket on the forward side of station 215. Remove the clamp (50) from the harness.
(9) Remove the nut (30) and washer (20) from the ground stud (GD9964DC) attached to the bracket at station 215. Remove the two ground wires. Install the washer and nut on the ground stud. Tighten the nut with your hand. (Ref. Detail B).
(10) Remove the screw (45), washer (20) and nut (30) that attach the clamp (35) to the bracket at the top of the engine. (Ref. Detail C).
(11) Remove the screw (55), the lug (60), the spacer (65), and washer (20) that attach the clamp (40) to the bracket at station 221 at the top of the engine. (Ref. Detail C).
(12) Disconnect the electrical connector 4001HA-A from the Bleed Pressure Regulator Valve (4001HA).
(13) Remove the harness from the engine.
(14) Put CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector 450VC-A from the core junction box.
(2) Remove the two bolts (5) and open the two clamps (10) that attach the harnesses to the pylon. Remove the harness from the clamps. Install the bolt (5) and tighten it with your hand.
(3) Remove the screws (15) and washer (20) and open the clamp (25) at the top of the engine at station 233. Remove harness from the clamp. Install the screw (15) and washer (20). Tighten the screw with your hand.
(4) Remove the screws (15), washers (20) and nuts (30) that attach the clamps (35), (two locations). Remove the clamps (35) from the harness. Install the screws, washers and nuts on the other clamp (35). Tighten the screw with your hand.
(5) Remove the screw (15), washer (20) and nut (30) that attach the clamp (35). Remove the clamp (35) from the harness. Install the screws, washers and nuts on the other clamp (40). Tighten the screw with your hand.
(6) Remove the screw (15), washer (20) and nut (30) that attach the clamp (35). Remove the clamp (35) from the harness. Install the screws, washers and nuts on the other clamp (35) at station 221. Tighten the screw with your hand.
(7) Remove the screw (45), washer (20) and nut (30) that attach the clamp (40) to the bracket on the aft side of station 215. Remove the clamp (40) from the harness.
(8) Remove the screw (45), washer (20) and nut (30) that attach the clamp (50) to the bracket on the forward side of station 215. Remove the clamp (50) from the harness.
(9) Remove the nut (30) and washer (20) from the ground stud (GD9964DC) attached to the bracket at station 215. Remove the two ground wires. Install the washer and nut on the ground stud. Tighten the nut with your hand. (Ref. Detail B).
(10) Remove the screw (45), washer (20) and nut (30) that attach the clamp (35) to the bracket at the top of the engine. (Ref. Detail C).
(11) Remove the screw (55), the lug (60), the spacer (65), and washer (20) that attach the clamp (40) to the bracket at station 221 at the top of the engine. (Ref. Detail C).
(12) Disconnect the electrical connector 4001HA-A from the Bleed Pressure Regulator Valve (4001HA).
(13) Remove the harness from the engine.
(14) Put CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connectors.
