A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040):

(4) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.

D. Make the thrust reverser unserviceable (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-481-041).

4. Procedure
Subtask 71-52-43-020-062-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal of the Vibration Sensor Harness Assembly

Vibration Sensor Harness Assembly ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Disconnect the electrical connector 457VC-A from the core junction box.
(2) Remove the two bolts (5) and open the two clamps (10) that attach the harnesses to the pylon. Remove the harness from the clamps. Install the bolt (5) and tighten it with your hand.
(3) Remove the screw (15) and washer (20) and open the clamp (25). Remove the harness from the clamp (25). Install the screw (15) and washer (20). Tighten the screw with your hand.
(4) Remove the screws (15), washers (20) and nuts (30) that attach the clamps (35), (Two locations). Remove the clamp (35) from the harness. Install the screws, washers and nuts on the other clamp (35) and tighten the screws with your hand.
(5) Remove the screw (15), washer (20) and nut (30) that attach the clamp (40). Remove the clamp (40) from the harness. Install the screw, washer and nut on the other clamp (35) and tighten the screw with your hand.
(6) Remove the screw (15), washer (20) and nut (30) that attach the clamp (35) to the bracket at station 221. Remove the clamp (35) from the harness. Install the screw, washer and nut on the other clamp (35) and tighten the screw with your hand.
(7) Disconnect the electrical connector 4003EV-A from the TRF vibration sensor.
(8) Remove the harness assembly from the engine.
(9) Put CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connectors.
