WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE PARTS AFTER THE ENGINE SHUTDOWN. USE APPLICABLE THERMAL GLOVES. THE ENGINE PARTS CAN STAY HOT FOR ONE HOUR AFTER SHUTDOWN AND CAN BURN YOU.

A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is OFF.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start the engine.

(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position on the left side and the right side of the engine.

(1) Remove the anti-ice duct No. 3 (Ref. AMM TASK 30-21-49-000-012).
(2) Remove the starter duct (Ref. AMM TASK 80-13-49-000-010).
4. Procedure(1) Remove the anti-ice duct No. 3 (Ref. AMM TASK 30-21-49-000-012).
(2) Remove the starter duct (Ref. AMM TASK 80-13-49-000-010).

A. Disconnection of the Harness
(1) Disconnect these electrical connectors:
(a) The connectors 4100KS-D and 4100KS-C from the relay box
(b) The connectors 4002VC-A and 4003VC-A from the electrical harness receptacles attached to the brackets
(c) The connectors 4000JH1-A and 4000JH2-A from the igniter box.
Subtask 71-51-44-620-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Disconnect these electrical connectors:
(a) The connectors 4100KS-D and 4100KS-C from the relay box
(b) The connectors 4002VC-A and 4003VC-A from the electrical harness receptacles attached to the brackets
(c) The connectors 4000JH1-A and 4000JH2-A from the igniter box.
B. Put the applicable COVER - BLANKING on all the electrical connectors and all the electrical receptacles.
