YOU MUST DEACTIVATE THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND IT. IF YOU DO NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE AN INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
(1) Do the deactivation of the thrust reverser system for ground maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805). D. Get Access

A. Removal of the Thrust Reverser Align Ramp
(1) Remove the thrust reverser align ramp assembly (1) and ramp pad (2).
(3) Remove the ramp assembly (1) from the engine fan case.
(4) Remove the two bolt (3) that attach the ramp pad (2) to the ramp assembly (1).
(5) Remove the ramp pad (2) from the ramp assembly (1).
(1) Remove the thrust reverser align ramp assembly (1) and ramp pad (2).
NOTE: The following procedures are for the removal of the left thrust reverser align ramp assembly and ramp pad. Procedures for the removal of the right thrust reverser align ramp assembly and ramp pad are opposite.
(2) Remove the two nuts (4), four washers (5) and two bolts (6) that attach the ramp assembly (1) to the engine fan case. (3) Remove the ramp assembly (1) from the engine fan case.
(4) Remove the two bolt (3) that attach the ramp pad (2) to the ramp assembly (1).
(5) Remove the ramp pad (2) from the ramp assembly (1).
