Installation of the Access Panel 521AT(621AT)

MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

(1) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) are in position.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the slats are fully extended (Ref. AMM TASK 27-80-00-866-004).
(2) Make sure that the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION is installed on the flap/slat control lever.
(3) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the slats.

D. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE is in position below the applicable access panel 521AT(621AT).

Subtask 57-41-37-210-068-A
A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Use a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean:
(4) Apply Release Agent-- PTFE Loaded - (Material No.14DDB1) to the inner surface of the access panel (2).
(5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
Subtask 57-41-37-420-068-A (1) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Use a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean:
- The interface of the aircraft structure
- The mating surfaces of the access panel (2).
(4) Apply Release Agent-- PTFE Loaded - (Material No.14DDB1) to the inner surface of the access panel (2).
(5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
B. Installation of the Access Panel 521AT(621AT)
(1) Hold the access panel (2) in position and install the bolts (1).
(2) Torque the bolts (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-21-11-911-001).
5. Close-up(1) Hold the access panel (2) in position and install the bolts (1).
(2) Torque the bolts (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-21-11-911-001).

A. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

B. Close Access
(1) Remove the access platform(s).
Subtask 57-41-37-860-081-A (1) Remove the access platform(s).
C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Remove the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION from the flap/slat control lever.
(2) Retract the slats (Ref. AMM TASK 27-80-00-866-005).
