A. Safety Precautions
(2) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(3) Install the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS on the flap/slat control lever.
(4) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.
Subtask 57-27-11-650-071-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
BEFORE YOU DO WORK IN OR NEAR A FUEL TANK, MAKE SURE THAT YOU OBEY ALL THE SAFETY PROCEDURES. THIS WILL PREVENT INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.
(1) You must obey the fuel safety procedures when you do work in a fuel tank, (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-002). (2) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(3) Install the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS on the flap/slat control lever.
(4) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.
B. Fuel Configuration
(1) Defuel the aircraft (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-001).
(2) Drain the remaining fuel from the applicable fuel tank(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-003).

(2) Drain the remaining fuel from the applicable fuel tank(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-003).
C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE below the applicable wing leading-edge, zone 521(621).
(2) Remove the applicable leading-edge pressure-relief panel 521EB(621EB) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-000-004).
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE below the applicable wing leading-edge, zone 521(621).
(2) Remove the applicable leading-edge pressure-relief panel 521EB(621EB) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-000-004).

A. Removal of the Access Panel
(1) Remove the bolts (3) and the access panel (1).
(2) Remove the access panel assembly (2).
(3) Identify the access panel (1) and the access panel assembly (2) with labels.

(2) Remove the access panel assembly (1).
