C. Get Access
   (1) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flight controls.
   (2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 12M (40 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
   (3) Open the access panel 325DL (Ref. AMM TASK 55-33-13-010-002).
   (4) Remove the access panels 325EL 325ER 325DR (Ref. AMM TASK 55-33-13-010-002).

C. Get Access
   (1) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flight controls.
   (2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 12M (40 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
   (3) Open access panel 325DL (Ref. AMM TASK 55-33-13-010-002).
   (4) Remove access panels 325EL, 325ER, 325FR and 325GR (Ref. AMM TASK 55-33-13-010-002).
4. Procedure
Subtask 55-36-48-020-050-A
A. Remove the Rudder Support Strut
   (1) Install the 98D27207508000 FIXTURE - VERT. STABILIZER RUDDER.
   (2) If the 98D27207508000 FIXTURE - VERT. STABILIZER RUDDER is unserviceable, do as follows:
     (a) Use the 98A55308440000 SLING-UNIVERSAL,TAIL PLANE with the CRANE 200KG (440 LB) to hold the rudder at its hoist points to compensate its weight.
NOTE: The weight of the rudder is approximately 95 kg (209.4391 lb).
     (b) Use the DYNAMOMETER 200 DAN (449 LBF)-PULL between the CRANE 200KG (440 LB) and the rudder to make sure that there is no tension in the z-strut area before you disconnect the z-strut.
   (3) Remove and discard the cotter pin (2).
   (4) Remove the lockwashers (5) and remove the nuts (4) with a SL90-315-3750 WRENCH - NOTCHED, TIGHTENING OF NUTS NSA5454 (Ref. AMM TASK 20-22-00-000-001).
   (5) Remove the washers (3), the bolts (1) and the rudder support strut (9).
