Subtask 55-33-00-860-057-A
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized and put them in the maintenance configuration
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flight controls.
(3) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 10M (33 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at the vertical stabilizer trailing edge.
Subtask 55-33-00-865-050-A (1) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized and put them in the maintenance configuration
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flight controls.

A. Do an inspection of the vertical stabilizer trailing edge access-panels for missing fasteners
(1) Make sure that the studs (4) and the washers (5) are installed and in the correct condition.
(2) If necessary, open/remove the trailing edge access-panels (Ref. AMM TASK 55-33-13-010-002):
(a) Make sure that the receptacles (1) are installed and in the correct condition.
(b) Replace/install the receptacles (1) as necessary.
(c) Make sure that the washers (3) and the snap-rings (2) are installed at the studs (4) and in the correct condition.
(d) If necessary replace/install the washers (3) and/or the snap-rings (2).
(3) Replace the missing fasteners within 100 flight hours.
(a) Make sure that the new studs (4) have a washer (5) and (3) and a snap-ring (2).
Subtask 55-33-00-210-050-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the studs (4) and the washers (5) are installed and in the correct condition.
(2) If necessary, open/remove the trailing edge access-panels (Ref. AMM TASK 55-33-13-010-002):
(a) Make sure that the receptacles (1) are installed and in the correct condition.
(b) Replace/install the receptacles (1) as necessary.
(c) Make sure that the washers (3) and the snap-rings (2) are installed at the studs (4) and in the correct condition.
(d) If necessary replace/install the washers (3) and/or the snap-rings (2).
(3) Replace the missing fasteners within 100 flight hours.
(a) Make sure that the new studs (4) have a washer (5) and (3) and a snap-ring (2).
NOTE: You can temporarily replace a missing fastener by a fastener from another panel. Make sure that the replacement fastener has the same size and the same length as the missing one. Obey the criteria in the subsequent table when you remove a fastener from any other panel.

A. Inspection of the Vertical-Stabilizer Trailing-Edge Access-Panels for Missing Fasteners
(1) Do an inspection of the vertical-stabilizer trailing-edge access-panels for missing fasteners.
(3) If necessary, open the applicable vertical-stabilizer trailing-edge access-panel(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 55-33-13-010-002).
(a) Make sure that the receptacles (1) are correctly installed and in the correct condition.
(b) If necessary, correctly install the receptacles (1) or install new receptacles (1).
(c) Make sure that the washers (3) and the snap rings (2) are correctly installed on the studs (4) and are in the correct condition.
(d) If necessary, correctly install the washers (3) and/or the snap rings (2) or install new washers (3) and/or new snap rings (2).
(4) Install fasteners where they are missing in 100 Flight Hours (FH) or less. Make sure that each new stud (4) has:
5. Close-up(1) Do an inspection of the vertical-stabilizer trailing-edge access-panels for missing fasteners.
NOTE: Only vertical-stabilizer trailing-edge access-panels 325BL, 325BR, 325CL, 325CR and 325DL have fasteners.
(2) Make sure that the studs (4) and the washers (5) are correctly installed and in the correct condition. (3) If necessary, open the applicable vertical-stabilizer trailing-edge access-panel(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 55-33-13-010-002).
(a) Make sure that the receptacles (1) are correctly installed and in the correct condition.
(b) If necessary, correctly install the receptacles (1) or install new receptacles (1).
(c) Make sure that the washers (3) and the snap rings (2) are correctly installed on the studs (4) and are in the correct condition.
(d) If necessary, correctly install the washers (3) and/or the snap rings (2) or install new washers (3) and/or new snap rings (2).
(4) Install fasteners where they are missing in 100 Flight Hours (FH) or less. Make sure that each new stud (4) has:
- One washer (5), one washer (3) and one snap ring (2)
- The correct size and length.

B. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) If necessary, close/install the trailing edge access-panels (Ref. AMM TASK 55-33-13-410-002).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
