A. Safety Precautions
   (1) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in the flight compartment to tell persons not to operate the flight controls.
   (2) Put the 98D27903500000 PIN-SIDE STICK LOCKING in the CAPT and F/O side stick controllers.
   (3) Put the 98D27403500000 PITCH TRIM CONTROL LOCKING in the cabin pedestal center.

B. Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) in position at zone 312.
   (2) Open the access door 312AR.
   (3) Remove the primary lower attachment of the THS actuator. (Ref. AMM TASK 27-44-51-000-001).
   (4) Remove the THS actuator arms attach fittings. (Ref. AMM TASK 55-16-34-000-001).

   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install the THS actuator arms attach fittings. (Ref. AMM TASK 55-16-34-400-001).
   (3) Install the primary lower attachment of the THS actuator. (Ref. AMM TASK 27-44-51-400-001)
   (4) Close the access panel 312AR.

B. Remove Ground Equipment
   (1) Remove the access platform(s).
   (2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
