Subtask 54-57-22-860-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
   (1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
     (a) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to start engine 1(2).
   (2) On overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
     (a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
     (b) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).

B. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE THRUST REVERSER IS LOCKED. IF NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE REVERSER.
   (1) Make sure that the thrust reverser is unserviceable for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-012).

C. Get Access
   (1) Make sure that the thrust reverser doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-00-010-010):
     (a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)
451AL 452AR
     (b) FOR [1000EM2] (ENGINE-2)
461AL 462AR.
   (2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position:
     (a) For the left pylon, in zone 415
     (b) For the right pylon, in zone 425.
4. Procedure
Subtask 54-57-22-420-052-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Sections
F Sections ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Put and hold the sections (71), (72), (73), (74), (75) and (76) in position on the pylon between RIB06 and RIB1.
   (2) Make sure that the sections (71), (72), (73), (74), (75) and (76) do not touch with the adjacent section(s).
   (3) Install the screws (70) and tighten them.
5. Close-up

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close the thrust reverser doors (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-00-410-010):
     (a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

     (b) FOR [1000EM2] (ENGINE-2)
461AL 462AR.

B. Reactivation of the Thrust Reverser
   (1) Make the thrust reverser serviceable after maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-440-012).

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Remove the access platform(s).
   (2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
