Subtask 54-57-22-941-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
   (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
     (a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
   (2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
   (3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
     (a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
     (b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make the thrust reverser unserviceable (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-012).

C. Get Access
   (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position:
     (a) At zone 410 for the left pylon.
     (b) At zone 420 for the right pylon.
4. Procedure

A. Inspection
F Pylon-to-Nacelle Fairings ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Do the inspection of the front sections (2), (3), (4) and (5) and the rear sections (6) and (7) of the fairing and the inspection of the welded assy (1).
     (a) If you find cracks (cracks extend parallel to the spot weld points), refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 54571101 for damage classification and corrective action.
     (b) If a part of the fairing sections is not there, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 54571101 for damage classification and corrective action.

   (1) Make the thrust reverser serviceable (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-440-012).

B. Close Access
   (1) Remove the access platform(s).
   (2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
